Second grow questions

Hey y’all,
I’m starting my second grow. I had a nice first run (I read a lot here thanks for the knowledge,) and I’m just getting started on the second round. I’m growing banana kush from ILGM. My seedlings have sprouted in a humidity dome in jiffy seed starting mix and I’m fixing to move them into the tent. I’m switching from Fox Farms Ocean Forest to Sunshine Advanced Mix 4. I am going to be using GH flora trio, Roots Organic calmag, Terpinator, liquid koolbloom and floralicious plus. I will be watering with distilled water.
My understanding is that this is a neutral mix whereas Ocean Forest is a hot mix with nutrients right out of the bag. Should I start with the nutrients right out of the gate when I transplant? I waited three weeks in the Ocean Forest and it still wasn’t long enough. I assume it will need a stronger nutrient mix in this medium, is that correct? What should my ph be watering in this medium, I was shooting for 6.5 last time until I had low runoff ph and I bumped it up to 7.
I’m really excited to get this going and fix the problems I had last time. Eg naners, foxtails, ph lockouts, feeding too much too soon etc.

When starting a new strain it is always best to start with low level nutes until you find what it likes. With young plants 1/8 to 1/4 strength will work. If using a hotmix only use water first watering otherwise the plants will be okay. I also suggest going full organic as mixing takes away the advantages of organic. The problems you had last grow dont really happen if organic living soil is done correctly.

I plan to work towards an organic living soil in the next two years. Right now I’m just trying to figure out how to use what I have which is the floratrio. Bird in the hand and all. Same strain as last grow. I made it to the end and the buds look good but I always want to do better.

Water only for about 3 weeks. You’ll notice any deficiency which would be nitrogen. Nitrogen is the element most quickly taken up so it’s minor deficiency early. Above advice about using reduced amounts is sound.

Thought I’d share that I smoked the best pot I ever grew out of my brand new bowl today! My buddy chipped the last one right on the carb, so I decided to get something nice today, I’m so stoked! It was my first grow so take that as you will. The new girls are looking good too, almost killed them til I started feeding them.
They are catching light feedings of GH flora trio and I replaced a shitty in line fan today. This jiffy seed mix has nothing I don’t feed them. Considering growing in just that, does that make me a control freak?

So the girls are getting transplanted today about an hour after lights on, my question is should I feed right away or just straight water? They are going into 3 gallon cloth pots of sunshine advanced mix #4 which is supposed to be a neutral medium. Also I bought some great white to shake into the pots. Once again feeding GH flora trio at half strength so far with the addition of floralicious plus and flora blend

Alright the girls are looking good, except one. Same soil same light same food. Feeding half strength flora trio in sunshine mix #4 advanced. Any ideas why she is so unhappy and how I can help? The New growth looks good, recently pinched. That looks successful at least. First pic is her. Middle is a group shot. Last is one of her healthy looking sisters

If someone could help me I’d really appreciate it. Should I cull the plant with problems? Give it straight water? Does it need something I’m not giving it? I’d like to save her life if possible.

So update first, the plant with problems turned into a super star. The ladies are looking nice overall! Thank God! The question I have now is how soon is too soon to flip to flower after transplant? I put them in 7 gallon pots from their three gallon fabric pots about a week ago. Is it too soon? They really took off this week. They are about half the height of the tent so near the limit for the stretch. I also have roots poking out the holes of the pots already! They seem to be thriving!
Seriously, thank y’all for all the help and the great resources on this site. Couldn’t have done any of this on my own.

Alright my inexperience leads me to plead for y’all to drop some knowledge on me once again. Hopefully I’ll have bettter luck getting a response this time. I burnt some of my plants with the lights. The leaves at some of the tops suffered. The buds look good ( one is sprouting a huge foxtail but that’s it and it happened last time with the same strain.) I picked up the loupe on a whim tonight and noticed some of the trichs turning milky on the buds where the leaves are burnt. Hooray right? No, I’m only in week 4 of flower. Things didn’t move that quick last time. They aren’t moving that quick on other plants either. Photos are all of one bud, apologies for lights and quality. I can’t turn the damn light off because it won’t turn back on right away for some reason. Details of food etc are in thread above. As always any insight is appriciated
