My last grow I did not top and ended up with a pretty hefty harvest, I did LST them like mad though. I just had a try on my current with a little topping, will see how that goes.

I got a jar of bag seeds from a buddy the other night, anyone else find that once someone knows you are growing your own they want to dump their bagseeds on you? My brother-in-law just gave me a bunch also.

i start on the 5 set of leaves. so the 4th set is fully developed and the 5th leaves have started to come out
they start to develop a lil stem under it that will become the extension of your stalk. itll be just big enough to fit scissors under.
u cut it off and within 3-4 days youll have 4 leaves or 2 sets instead of one. like my bush on page just got topped for second time.

Nah man, Iam not saying nothing. I am sure you know whats up. TBH I didn't even see your response I just seen the post wanting to know more,It is a little in depth but for me , thats what I want. I don't want to go hacking shit off the Green Goddess without knowing why and what it is causing to happen in the plant.

hopefully its a strain that doesnt mind topping some react quicker then others.

i knowwwwwwwwwwww but it's TWENTY DAYS OLD! i mean it was a fuckin seed 20 days ago. what on earth... me n the Mr are betting it's not gonna be terribly good weed. hahaha

I noticed you had 2 in plastic clear cups if that's the only thing you have you should cover with something to keep the light from hitting the development of the young roots.

In the future you may want to start seedlings indoors under some cfls. That way they can get steady light and not stretch during the first two weeks.

we did start them indoors, but they're either outdoors during the day and under a 600w mh at night... we figured out pretty quick (within a week or so) the CFLs we were using for the first week or so were insufficient and causing stretching.
