second indoor not to far from flowering

well as it says getting ready for flower ,,will give them few more weeks of veg and start my 12/12,,my second indoor grow,,My first grow was Sour D,,and a unknown from some killer I had 2 hermie at 7 weeks in and pulled them but they had pollinated,,no biggie pulled green seeds and grew on,,,ended up with 1 1/2 pounds of 16 plants would have been 18 but had to kill the two hermies ,,this grow is a bit smaller I have 7 plants this go round and one ugly one I am re vegging for a friend ,,PS I hate the plant I am re vegging lol,,,,,,What is in this grow is 1 strawberry cough,,,3 sour d ,,,1 Drews blend ,,it is sour d and what ever my un known was ,,,,,& I got lucky my cousin was getting some cherry pie from a guy and I got dam lucky got one seed from some cherry pie we had,,and she came up,,,sexed it it is female and have been taking many clones from it as it was super good funk,,I am wanting to continue the cherry pie and Sour D ,,will see how the cough does ,,thought about crossing the cherry pie and the sour d and making,,cherry diesel,,only have one cherry pie and would not mind some seeds from it,,they think alot of them any more lol

few more pics would not fit in first one,,well as you can see i run florescence lights for veg also have 4,, 65 watt plant lights you see on the wall,,Also you can see I do quite a bit of super cropping,,I like to have 10-30 cola buds,,the low stress training and super cropping do extend my veg time,,but not bye much,,put these few in my room July 20th ,,when my last batch got done flower so almost 2 months into veg,,these plants were in my tent all around 12 inches was trying to keep them small until my room was ready for them,,hoping for some nice buds off these,,,,I hoping the weather cooperates,,as I will need the air for a bit longer once flowering lol

few more pics and,,my secret room and babies are doing pretty well,just gave them a bit of milk in a foliar spray ,,get for the bones and such lol,,enjoying my ,,space and the progress ,,only my second complete indoor ,,the need for privacy brought me in,,I rather enjoy the extra time and attention I am able to give them hope they flower as good as the last bunch ,,only time will tell gave first dose of molasse tonight,,they will be ready for more in weeks to come in flower

just acquired 2, 400 watt MH lights in water resistant cases,, for free had to put a capacitor in each and re wire the one the wires were very old but booth are working up and mounted,,This will be a very nice touch for flowering,,,,,Got them from the property were my cousin works ,,is all grown up had some ole barns and sure enough found me some lights,lol,,,I think I will have to replace the one ballast,,it is working A okay just very noisy,,the other one you can hardly feel run this one is loud buzz hum,,I can hear it barely threw my wall for my room I don't like that,,will have to invest in a new one,so it will be quiet lol hope all is well for everyone

Thank you,,been doing my best to get dialed in and stay a step ahead of problems,,been pretty smooth going,,I try to use organic fertilizer,,been using Tomato tone it is a 3-4-6,,I like a 7-5-5 for vegg,,but this does pretty good is granules ,,I crush them into powder i feed 1 table spoon per gallon,,feed every 3 days with a weaker dose,,and every 2 weeks with strong dose,,will stay with that fertilizer for first month of flower and then switch to a 3-10-10 or as close as I can get,,I try to focus on my environment,,it was a bit to get use to going from all out door for years to indoor I now am mother nature ,,was a little challenge to figure where everything likes to be temp wise water wise ,,I try to keep there space clean and consistent they have done well,,wish i had a bit more time to veg i think i can make monsters lol time and space sure I can like doing it great hobby,get my medicine for free,,,will be adding my CO2 jugs and a black light for lights out or dark time for them as added stress,,will be doing some molasses to them after they start budding good generally a dose a week until late flower then will get 2 doses a week,,to frost them up good,,I mix my own soil as well from store bought soils,,if anyone is interested in ,,soil mix feeding ,,cloning,,types of music for them,,ways to increase your yield ,,ways to increase potency,,or needs info on ,fimming,,, lolly popping,,super cropping,,I may not have all answers but am glad to share what i have learned works for me over the years,,I also use milk two times during grow,,and lime granules I also crush and mix lime in water at 1 teaspoon per gallon of water bout every 2 weeks,,keeps soil netrul ,,,,The last pic is from a piece of bud I was checking from my first grow ,,this it what sugars help with in flowering

Few more pics just got done misting them,,I utilize misting or spraying them down,,you never have to worry bout over watering while in veg if your spraying it on them as they will also drink threw leaves and stalk,,at times i mix a spray bottle very weak with fertilizer water,,does pretty good ,,you will have to watch late in flower as to much moisture at the wrong time can cause mold in late flower but I have not had that trouble before knock on wood will do my best to keep my grow clean and mold free lol

ahhh sad day ,,went in my garden and my cherry pie now 10 days into 12-12 is a hermie ,,,Had to do him like you would do any male trying to get in with your ladies,,I kept a clone,,as I will likely breed with the Cherry pie,,just did not want to do a grow of mostly seeds,,so had to chop that big bugger down ahhhhhh shame was a very nice plant had even sexed it,,or so i had thought ,,when I sexed it few months back to bout 16 days before she showed ,,but am only 10 days in this and it has booth lmao,,nature some times finds a way no worries caught it pretty early in so should be smooth rolling just hated to wack it down few pics of cherry pie,,gonna make some butter from the leaves ,,shite happens ,,life's a garden got to dig it

well I changed my lights October the 16th to 12/12 I am at 19 days in right now when i hit 21 days in I will start the clock for flowering,,I hope they will make nice plants after there done,,last time flower ran bout 78 days normal for sour diesel can run up to 88 days ,,i have a microscope so when they get that far I will be peaking don't want them to go over,,love my little hobby nam pleased this is my second indoor ,,I hope to continue to improve,,Life a garden got to dig it,,

Why do you think you are getting so many hermies?

ah it happens,,in a room with no males sometimes nature finds a way can also be a genetic trait if the seeds were flowered buy a hermie,,good percent will be female ,,as the original hermie ,,would have been a female in flower and then developes male pollen sacks at some point,,was originally a female so it will be a female pollinating other females which will give you mostly female seeds ,, But all those female will also have that genetic marker that the pollinating parent had,,,So they come up every once and a while,,,In the case of the Cherry Pie,,it was a seed that came from some cherry pie smock and it was showing signs early of booth,,so I cut him,,the plants are very single minded,,if they are in flower and get pollen you will have bud and seed if you start your flower and get pollen in the very beginning you will have loads of seeds,,,,The plant will make buds,,or it will makes seeds in flower,,very single minded,,this year I have started over 100 babies for friends ,,have only had 3 hermies in total,,and some times they will not do it until 6 weeks in or more,,nature always trys to find a way to do what it wants,,

few more pics of the ladies all seems to be doing well or as good as it can I suppose,,will be time to give them a bit more molasses before to long and make them good and frosty,still spraying them once a day with selzter water as well got my 3 home made 1 gallon jugs percolating do good for a poor man set up lol,,I still love and swear buy my cheap florescent lights,,just have to use full spectrum bulbs and they rock even for flower ,,also low heat which allows me to stay close with the plant & saturate it good with light,,went threw had to thin out few leaves ,,few were still to dense to see threw so made a bit of space took off some old growth will be adding my black light for lights out before long as well just some added stress to help the terpiniods get that good stink & oil going

few more pics would not fit in the other one,,If anyone has any questions will do my best to pass on what works for me ,,I am also still feeding my 3-4-6 same thing I was using in veg,,I found a 6-10-10 granuals that I have crushed and mixed with my 3-4-6 trying to get my numbers as close to a 3-10-10 as I can in flower,,My flower may also push a bit longer then some,,will have to see last time sour diesel ran for 78 days in flower & I still pulled before I had 30-40% amber tricomes ,,so will just have to see what we come off with this go round,,cheers hope everyone is doing well

well still cooking right along few more pics of my ladies,I gave them a milk folar spray so may see some dry milk on a few leaves got to spray them and wipe my leaves off Tm,,had to go threw and thin a few fan leaves off as well few were very dense had to remove some that where shading light,

Here is a pic of one of the tiny Bud & leaf,,will be giving another does of molasas in a day or 2 they are frosted up pretty good am just greedy I suppose lol,,I will add have told others this before when giving sugars be carefull as it will frost the buds and leaves but young growth tiny littl nodes just starting or tops with no bud ,,you will burn off like a laser so it has to do with timing on the growers end ,,remember less is more,,better to give to little of anything then to much

well still going here ,,had 2 hic ups,,booth my fault as the grower,,My neighbor who is a grower was having some issues and brought me a few plants to see if I could fix ,,I got them straight,,but his dirty plants were covered with Botrytis fungus,,I thought it was powdery mildew and my heart sank,,got his aids infected plants out of here ,emptied my room,,Bleached it top to bottom and for 4 days in a row I removed my plants repeated the room cleaning,,and each day washed my plants with warm soapy water and milk,,wiped each leaf and the stalks repeated for 4 days and saved my grow ,,or have seen no further signs,,close to a heart attack as you can get I know better then to bring clones or anything from another grow ,never have I saw it that bad or that fast,,was not powdery mildew but was for sure some form fungus,I was lucky caught it fast hope it stays gone never had any mold or fungus problems,,found out his room is ate up with it and he has been loosing plants to it on an off for over a year ,,SMH,,second problem was also my doing or a oversight,,While I was dealing with the mold or fungus issue I had turned my timer to the on position as I was in there late the firt day or so to clean the room,,i forgot to switch it back on to the timer,,so lights were on for bout a week 24/7 before I caught it,,Fixed am growing on felt like a big dummy fixed one issue made another,,The result I see some smooth leaves on top where the plant was trying to go back to veg may make me flower a bit longer which I had not planned on as my head stash is low low low ,,But all else a side doing okay,,some education in life is fee some you will pay for ,,Hope everyone is doing great grow on farmers
