second opinion?

 • this has been starting to show in my plants over the last week. these fan leaves came from towards the top under a more intense part of the light. any guesses what this is? im approaching harvest time is this normal? hairs have started to turn orange as well. it could be an abundance of something but i think i have been pretty light on the feeding. i was having a nitro deficiency in another plant, and treated them all with a little calimagic earlier this week. im growing in coco btw. i have read the deficiencies guide and have my own opinions but am not positive. here is my journal with all the details and pics i have to offer. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/565696-9-dynamite-clones-led.html

Totally agree with unlucky. That isn't from a nitro issue, Depending on how close u r to harvest, FLUSH them with straight water, slightly below room temp.

"Abundance: this is pretty rare to notice, excess potassium usually isnt absorbed by the plants but can mess with levels of magnesium, manganese zinc and iron. This in turn leads to salt damage acid fluctuations and possibly a calcium deficiency" could be possible but i haven't really added verry much of things that is potassium based since the problem started. just light feedings of botanicare pure blend as my base nutrient, and maybe 2 light feedings of snow storm ultra and on feeding of .purple maxx (this may be the problem because afterwords a really bad reviews on the forum but not all) purple maxx has a reputation of causing light burn & ph problems but it has been 3 weeks since the one and only foliar feed. certainly this is a possibility though thank you.

last time i sprayed anything was about 3 weeks ago with a light foliar feeding of purple maxx. the lights are as high as possible. should i still be spraying the leaves? my humidity drops as low as 35% on a cold dry day out side, and when it will creep up to 60% and then i will manually kick on the dumidifier in the room the tent is in and that usually knocks it back down to about 50% which is where my plants are most of the time. where the issue is the plants are at least 18" from the leds. the issues seems only to happen in the most intense part of the lights though. plants are 2 weeks from harvest on a 45 day cycle. i will put up some pictures of the plants themselves today to get a better perspective. thanks guys and girls.

If your using purple MAxx snow storm or bush master be very careful as the levels they recommend can cause probs. To me it looks like light may be the issue buts just an opinion. Next run if u use the hum bolt products purple max to be exact try knocking the recommended levels back. The snow storm should be good as I never had probs with that. But do wish I had a pic of when I tried purple max burned my stuff so bad I never used it again!

yeah i think im in your boat dude. its crazy that purple maxx is $250 a gallon and the consensus is its a snake oil that actually harms plants and it is pottasuim based fyi!. im glad it was a free sample. i might try it on just one plant in the next round just to confirm is bull. as far as snow storm ultra goes that stuff has been pretty awesome super Crystalized bud but i used it on all of them so i don't have anything to compare to.

I'd also be careful with there other product bush master. It's just like the purp max but if you fig out where to run it, it does wonders as far as squating the plant and having it bush real good. I'm not gonna say don't run this product but a tester plant will def be a good way to go with all the hum bolt products so good thinking. So you use botanicare? On your next run try one with purple max and snow storm and then use molasses on another may find you like the results of molasses better just a suggestion so you can weed out what doesn't work for u. I ran many different lines and for me I found advanced nutes works best for my methods of meyham. They have stellar additives that work with there recommended levels and results speak for themselves.

Were lights on when u sprayed?
yes : ( that was three weeks ago shouldn't the problem have peaked a weed or two ago though? yeah i use botanicare(the rep also gave me a huge bag of coco to the other day!) pretty much everything i have used so far has been a free sample! one sample i can say was awesome was plant success granular trichoderma & microhaze, when i transplanted the roots were every where in the pot. the plants that had just the "great white" showed zero differences. all plants got orca feedings in veg too. i have aslo been using flora nectar too as of recently. this a gh product if i remember right. i got a free quart and a quart of calimag too from their rep too the other day, figured i would give it a try. kinda not happy with it though after reading the back. its 0-0-1 17.5% cane sugar, 7.5% malt extract. 5% molasses. i have heard cane sugar does basically nothing. what really bugs me about it is that they were to cheap to use unsulfered molasses and as a result it is 0.5% combined sulfur so the nectar needlessly contains salt!!!!!!!!!!!! i would never buy this product if weren't free because why not use black strap? its cheaper and better. virtually all my nutes this grow were free. i only bought high phosphorus bat guano and earth worm castings so far. i have discovered the guano is impossible to ph test with drops because the stuff turns the water completely gray to the point i cant tell what color is when i test. i have only used it once and suspect that it may be part of a ph problem if i have one still. about a week after using it i tested the run off and it was super alkaline! since then i have been trying to stay more on the acid side of things.

HERE'S AN AWESOME STORY: yesterday one of the poles that my led panel hangs from came apart and dropped a 300 dollar led free fall in to my plants severely damaging one plantsbreaking the stems in more places then i can count. and messing up two others i taped everything back together, tied the poor stems to bamboo and fed some b1. looked in the tent this morning most things look awesome except one branch that had about 8 buds on it was basically dead, i thought it probably would not survive becuase that one was completely separated and hanging from a TINY piece of bark. i guess it could have been worse. the plants broke the led panels fall so the front glass didn't shatter. could have been out both bud and a light
