Plants are in the 6 week of bloom. One of them has an overflow of trichomes while the other barley has any. Temps are like 72-84 and 45-58% Rh
Also the one with the most trichomes had no type of hst or lst. But the one that has the least amount was super cropped. Does that just mean I need to be patient bcuz I might have shocked it or could it be genetics? Idk have any of you dealt with this?
Thanks

U have a lot of humidity in there! It will keep pushing leaves with buds, instead of focusing on just bud production. I've never gone over 30%. and 84° is kinda warm, I heard trichomes can dissolve at 78°. Imo take some humidity out of there, and lower ur high temp to bout 77° and lows 72° !!!happy growing!!!

Higher rh around 50% is great in Veg but when you start flowering you want to lower the humidity and heat. If they run higher it's not the end of the world they'll turn out okay.

Trichomes do not dissolve at 78. Thats nonsense.

Just word of mouth, not a fact. It was probly cause I was running at higher temps and he was trying to get it to stick, that I needed to lower my Temps lol

Wow, my plants are smothered in trichomes in continuous 81-85f NO Co2! To the op, im willing to bet one plant is just a little ahead of the other in flowering. It happens, and looks to be more mature on the first pic. Also hard to tell but perhaps a cunt hair too much N *edit forgot to mention continuous 60/70% RH.

Independent research. You have to care. Blindly following regurgitated internet nonsense. If we all thought the same, no one would be thinking..not that people arent credible. I feel the community gives credit where credit is due, but one person on riu (or anywhere) vs general consensus on a subject. The masses always win. Replicate nature. Its the best grower ever. Best of luck man im not tryin to be shitty. Just general statements.

no 78f is fine. before i give you an answer please take note i am a blunt person and i dont sugar coat shit for the sake of everyone including myself.
you just kind of talked out your ass saying 45-58% humidity will push out leaves more also how trichomes dissolve at 78f (thanks for the laugh btw but my plants would be naked if this was true), 72-84 isnt as bad as most people would think. its fucking 90f outside and my plants dont mind it.

Hey no worries on the blunt part If I got my shit wrong ide like to fix it to but as for the humidity, I had a lot of humidity in my tent and it ended up growing lots of leaves with the buds. So I lowered my humidity to around 25-30% and it seemed to focus more on bud production. nice fat colas without a bunch of useless leaves. I said that because it was in my experience. But then again I just harvested my 2nd grow ever. So I'm sure u got alot more under the belt and I am here to learn as well so shoot some knowledge for some better understanding of this I'm more then willing to learn and pick up little tricks and tips on the way.

Those sugar leaves are usefull! Anyways, it is pretty much strain dependant. These plants come from all over the world, they require different optimal environmental factors like sun light, temps humidity ect.. That being said, 20% rh can actually damage your growth if dropped too early especially on a sativa dom. Plant matter shrinks as humidity or moisture in the plant matter itself dries off, which is why your leaves "look" smaller. The buds will get tighter and also, look smaller once again. When properly cured, they will end up dense anyway! 50% is PERFECT! 60%+ is perfect for c02 rooms with tons of light.
