Second time grow

Hi guys. Short term lurker here, and decided to make an account to document my second grow. I am growing (2) WWxBB and 1 Master Kush.

For this grow, I used:

Soil:

Pro-Mix BX
Worm Castings
Bat Guano
Shrimp Compost
Added Perlite
High Magnesium Dolomite Lime
General Hydroponics Sub-Culture

Secret Jardin Dark Room II: 3'x3'x6'
600w MH/HPS dimmable Revolt Electronic ballast.
6' 230CFM vent fan for outtake

Feeding with the Technaflora system, and going to add some Grotek Monster Bloom in as well, probably 1/2 strength first, in another week or so.

Here they are as of 30 mins ago in day 17 of flower.




Should also add that they were vegged for 6 weeks under MH before switching to HPS for flower.

How they looking so far?

looks gooood, howd your first grow look? you got a timeline picture reel of that?

First grow was a learning experience, for sure. I grew a Vanilla Kush and a Pineapple Chunk from Barney's farm. I only had a 150w hps light, so they were really leggy in veg and stretched big time in flower. By the time I got my 600w light, they were 5 1/2 feet tall. I had to tie back the tops so they didn't touch the bulb lol. I also messed up and used a enhancement fert as the primary during flowering, so by the time it was chopped (2 weeks early), 90% of the leaves had fallen off. Yielded about 2 1/2 ounces between the two. The VK was actually quite decent once dried and cured for a bit, but the PC was kind of bunk. I upgraded all my stuff and got PH and TDS meters to monitor levels this time around. Here is a pic of the cola on the VK though

very noiceee. how many plants do you have flowering int hat first picture? take the plants out from under the HPS for some pictures. i wants too see some natural close ups :]

my first run i got a little over a nice oz off one plant.. 2.5 sounds bossss. im currently hoping to hit that on my next harvest in about a month..

what size pots on the flowers? andddddd how often are you watering??

this round i started feeding my babies as soon as i saw bud formation.. i think they like it..

There are 3 plants and a small clone flowering. Post are 5 gal and I'm watering probably every 4-5 days. I usually give each plant 1 1/2 gal of water - just so I get some runoff. Invest in a moisture meter - takes the guesswork out of it.

As requested, here they are on day 21 of flower. Had to relocate my grow tent to make room for my new 42 sqr ft one

Just another update and some photos. Day 32 of flower, tons of bud growth! Plants starting to get quite top-heavy, so I bought some bamboo sticks to support the branches later in flower. Soil runoff is a steady 6.2ph, and keeping ppm around 1k. Anyways, here are some pics - forgive the quality, just used my smartphone to snap them.

Sick setup! How do you like the SJ tent?

It's terrific, although I wish I had gotten it a little larger. I did rectify that, however, by recently acquiring an Aviditi 6 1/2 foot cubed tent. Just waiting for my 1000w kit to arrive (dumbass UPS lost it)

Day 36, just a couple of flower pics..

Day 46, buds on the WWxBB plants are firming up nicely, while the MK is looking a week or so behind in terms of stage. Getting frosty as fuck! Clone is growing quite nicely in the top right corner as well. Still feeding, and keeping a close eye on pH and PPM.

Thanks, man! I gotta say, between this site and the Cervantes bible, I went from knowing virtually nothing about growing, to fairly proficient in 6 months. Still have tons to learn, of course!

So frosty and Hairy! what does she smell like?

The MK smells very earthy, with citrus tones. Pungent, but not overpowering. 6/10 on intensity scale. The WWxBB would definitely be an 8 though! And it has more of a sickly sweet/sour smell. Hard to describe, but oh so potent!

Here's some from today, day 51 of flower. Trics getting nice and milky, but definitely needs another 10 days min. Starting the flush tomorrow on the WWxBB plants.

Day 60 flower - partial harvest imminent! Chopping top buds on one of the WW x BB and I'm going to let the lower growth, along with the other WW x BB and MK go another week or so. Clone should be ready to chop around then as well.
