So my first attempt at growing went good until they showd there balls :cuss:

Then i came across a deal i couldn't pass up all these for 40 bucks. They are supposed to be snowcap we will see. I was expecting a few to die when i got them, but so far so good. The 3 and the far right in the second pic have rooted nice but im not getting any plant growth. had them for about 2 weeks. Gonna switch them to 12/12 in a week or so I think, i need to get some odor control first my garage already smells like something is in there. I have them in fox farms Ocean forest soil I am letting my water sit out for a day i don't have anything to check the ph.....I feel a little in over my head with all these so i would appreciate any useful input thanks.

Looking ok, room for improvement. What soil are you using? Also need moar light.. u got plenty in there but they are all mostly small cfl's more smalls ones are no replacement for good big ones!!... Look at my grow in my sig. I have more plants than you with only 2! cfls but they are both 65w (300w equiv.) well one is 85w. You can get the 65w ones from lowes for like $17... stack up on those instead of the small ones.

using ocean forest...(fox farm product) for my soil. will look in to bigger cfl's for sure thanks for your input :)

Built a Carbon Filter a few mins ago. Gonna make the switch to 12/12 Sunday probably Just gonna make sure i maintain my current temp of 88 or so. I know that is a little high but everything seems to be going good, and i don't want to cut another hole in my box. Should the fans be running 24 hrs a day when flowering....mostly when it starts developing buds.

Was just looking at a 250W HPS light online....What kinda increase would been seen on the electricity bill. The apartment complex covers the electricity in the garage...i don't want them to start investigating if there is a spike in the bill. If i were to do this it would be after this grow I wanna make sure I am decent at growing before spending more $$$$. Trying to upload new pix but its giving me trouble for some reason.

Nice stuff man. did you notice much airflow restriction with the new carbon filter, did your temps go up much? im trying to use a non outside venting, charcoal range hood filter for my cfl cab. got it from home depot for less than 10 bucks. its good that it doesn't restrict airflow too much, but im not totally convinced it will mask all the odors. never heard of anyone using these before, just thought i would give it a try. if it stinks i have some ona gel for back up. also you might want to transplant up a few of those babies before the get much bigger. good luck with the grow.

I found that filter on this site it seems to have worked for other people. But I will see when i go down to the garage right now to check on them. My temps did go up a few degrees so U just left the doors cracked till i figure out something. As far as trans planting i am gonna keep them small and try a party cup grow since i am limited on space with so many plants. thanks for stoppin by.

just switched to 12/12 and i cant really smell the plants after the filter....but i have a cold now so who knows lol

A buddy gave this to me tonight. I was wondering if this is worth feeding or should I just go buy some good nutes it wouldn't be much. Also would a windshield sun reflector thing work good for lining the walls of my cab?

Well I just went and got 6 more 2700K 23 watt 1600 Lumen s. Took out the 2 6500K

I have 4 23W, 4 42W, 4 13W. My Temp shot up to 95F, and still have 2 23W to use. I mounted a 8" desk fan hanging from the top put a box fan blowing cool air to the back for the intake to pick up. Then a regular oscillating fan blowing on the front with the door cracked...that only dropped it to 90F will go get some pics in a few mins. Would having the walls lined with reflectors bump up the temp much. This kinda sucks....this is no longer stealth with the fans going in my garage...thanks in advance going to get pics.

Kinda cheapo reflection i know. Should i just remove it....will it drop temps at all? Also i took 2 43W out they looked just about ready to burn out and added the last 2 23W. can anybody help....PLEASE + REP for help

Well I ripped out all the reflection on the wall, took shelf out drilled multiple 1/2" holes in the floor. Put the 8 plants on the floor of cabinet. Took out the 42W lights. That leaves 6 23W and a couple 15W, lowered the lights as much as the cord would allow.....not what i would say ideal for 8 plants but I dont have a choice right now. That dropped my temp to 85F dive or take a couple.

Just came across this on craigslist http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/for/1602787891.html thinking about jumping on this with a carbon filter. Kinda tired of wasting money on DIY filters and fans, and want to get a HPS light if i wind up be able to actually start harvesting decent bud. Does this look like something decent.

Well got home from the worst day at work and my 4 pack of cpu fans came :) so that was exciting, wired them up to a cell phone charger and i can barely feel the air on my face...the charger im using says output 5 volts and the fan says 12VDC. Im no electrician but does that mean it is running at half speed. The fan is supposed to move 44.73 CFM and is a 120MM fan. Thanks for any input.

oh ya i topped 2 of the plant sunday after switching to 12/12.............hope i did it right lol anyways someone smoke a bowl for me all outta spice heading to southern comfort after this miserable day fighting with my HR department about my medical card
