It takes at least 3 months to get a decent yeald of a mature plant. Secondary budding doubles the yeald at the cost of 1 - 1 1/2 months. So practically you just saved up a whole 1 1/2 - 2 months.
So theoretically, this method is actually quite ingenious. But since no one has actually done it and reported on it, we arn't sure if it really doubles the yeald or not.
I intend to try it as soon as this crop is done. I'll secondary bud a White Rhino, because, as you can imagine, this technique requires vast grow spaces, so a sativa is out of the question. That's the only downside so far, the space necessary is much larger.
