Secret Jardin DR150W

Anyone have one of these? Thinking about getting one. Just wondering what people's opinions were on them?

Would have 2- 24"x21" air cooled hoods in series crammed into her with a 600w hps and 315w cmh. Not concerned about yield quantity nearly as much as quality. I only grow for personal use.

Check the construction before buying.

I don't know if they make all there tents the same but there was a guy posting some youtube vids on here about 4 month ago and the bottom line was they were unsafe. On the ones he was showing the upright poles connected differently than most, most interlock into each other, but the SJ ones basically butted up to each other and then a metal sleeve slid over to keep them there, but the metal sleeve would fall down which meant there was nothing holding the poles together and they collapsed. Meaning you lights would fall straight to the ground and set fire to your room.

I didn't really believe it could be true but looked into it and shockingly it was.

But like I say, not sure if all there tents are constructed in the same way. All my tents (not SJ) have interlocking poles which literally cant fall apart, shit they are hard enough to take apart when you want to!

If its a case of limed space and they make the only 3x5 tent in the world then perhaps the uprights could be changed to a single length of copper pipe of the same thickness , but if you have other options I would explore those first.

Didn't realize they still use the old style corners. Watched a couple vids. I'm thinking between the weight of the hoods (roughly 40lbs) and the compression of the walls it wouldn't be much of a problem. Would have thought for the price they'd have a bit better engineering though...

And yes, this is the only 5x3 my fingers could find on the old interweb.
Found a vivosun 60x32x80 that would work. Just thought the Jardin would be better quality.

Really wish Mars Hydro made one :(

As Corey said, be careful with those sj tents, those corners suck ass

Honestly I think best bang for buck in the tent world is apollo horticulture.

My 4x4 apollo is the best of my 3 tents and it's not even close. Heavy material and zippers and zero light leaks.

I only rank gorilla ahead of apollo honestly but they cost twice as much.

FYI stay away from mars and vivosun if you can, they both suck lol

My hydrohut is cheaper and better than both the mars and vivosun. I sent the mars back and the vivosun is packed away prob never to be used again.
