The little one will grow out of that phase just the first few leaves are going to look retarded.

How often are you watering the big one. Only water when your soil is crunchy looking stick your finger in it to see if its moist and if it is then your fine. I say every two to three days just pour enough in to get the soil moist. In between waterings you can get a spray bottle and in the morning just mist the soil a couple times and the plant a couple times and you'll be good.

same with me, one of my plants did that as well, just give it some time it works out

yeah the bigger one was a mistake, i keep a journal of activities and forgot to write that i watered it and so i watered it again the next day on accident(really high and forgot
It's been three days since i watered it, so hopefully it will get better real soon.

Well the little one is starting to grow normally now and the one that was doing good until i overwatered is dead, I've already started germinating another seed, so hopefully things will do well this time.

Oh man the big one bit the dust? Oh well trial and error man don't sweat it. You didn't buy those seeds did you? Keep up the good work on the little one man only watering when you absolutly know she needs water. You should check my grow journal out man. My bagseed I planted sprouted with the seed still attached but I plucked it off as soon as I saw it. Leaves are still a little retarded but she will grow out of it.

Actually i did, they weren't too pricy, i bought top44(very good IMO) and got some free mazar crossed with afghan(growing that strain now) I paid like forty bucks for 15 seeds total. I did want to start with bagseed, but all the dealers i go through only have good sensimilia so no bagseed for me.
This is the second grow so i'm still learning, no worries it's just a hobby so i try not to get bummed out by the errors i make, just try to learn from them and get input from all the great folks here at RIU

Oh ok 40 for 15 seeds isnt bad. I paid 85 for my 5 fem seeds. I'm thinking of doing this strain from KC brains called mind bender looks pretty good and only 20 bucks for 10 seeds. Figure find a female and keep a mom and just keep cloning when I need some smoke.



Ya I plucked mine off as soon as she popped up this time and no harm done just be super careful.

Update
The little tarded one has started to grow normally and after the big one died the new seed has sprouted and looks healthy.
I realized that the big one actually died from lack of water, since this is only my second grow and a different strain than the first time, these ones drink a lot more water than the first strain that i grew. I guess it would have helped to use my hygrometer

Peace and Have a Happy Holiday

Hello guys! Newb alert on, first grow.I ll get straight to my question. So I germinated this particular seed(fem, ghs The Church) on 1/2/13, paper towel method & when it sprouted i planted it in all mix soil in plastic cup. Hps above it so humidity at 50% which i kno its low for this stage. Anyway, i ended up with the little guy growing with the seed hat on top due to the low humidity( it was dry & hard) so at 12/2/13 i removed it manually, like a surgeooooon(WeirdAl FTW!), no harm done. Now it looks like this. And that doesnt look like a set of leaves. Looks like a really really early stage of it.. So enlighten me, will it grow??? xD
