Just wondering what everyone's experiences have been with particular seed breeders i.e. ( paradise seeds, greenhouse seed co, barney's farm etc.) there's so much info on sales companies but i'd like to know who u think has the most stable genetics and stuff like that. please list strain with breeders if you would please. thanx in advance everyone!

i have always grown bagseed, so im still pretty new to these fancy store bought genetics. lol
havnt grown many seeds from each strain, so any problems coulda been my fault or just a bad seed and doesnt mean its a bad breeder.

they had 1 week seedling stage and some had 5 weeks veg. and the rest had 4 weeks veg all are on day 3 of 12/12.

paradise seeds-swiss bliss regular.
-started 2 seeds- one is shorter and bushier than the other. thinking 1m/1fem.

greenhouse seeds indica colored fems

-lemon skunk- 1 seed looks beautiful topped once

-white rhino- 1 seed popped and died. started the second and popped and stunted -growing real slow but looks good now. just short.

-cheese same problem as with the white rhino. but looking great now.

-great white shark- 1 seed looks great topped once. at about the 3rd node i thought overfert. i flushed. after about a week i realised it was hungry i fed with 1/2 strength of foxfarms and it greened up nice.

-trainwreck- 1 seed topped once finally looking great. i wrecked my trainwreck early on by dropping 1 end of a fluoro on it. it recovered and then was topped. it took 2 weeks for it to recover from being topped and looks great.

-barney's farm

-blue cheese fem. started 2 seeds. both were topped once. looking great. both are short and bushy.

im in veg stage on three types

1. whiteberry feminized via paradise seeds: very nice so far and growth and pheno seems same throughout
2. jockhorror via nirvana: a couple are small and a couple are very tall and healthy and 1 thats just ok. not sure on this breeder but im new so it may just be me however, i'v heard in a few post that their genetics are sometime a bit unstable.
3. trainwreck via greenhouse seed co. still at very early stage so far but going straight from breeder pack to paper towel germination method and 4 of 5 have popped and shown root in 14hrs. which is awesome imo. hope they stay on that path.

I like serious and sensi for breeders. Just do your homework and find who makes the best of the strain your looking for.

I like serious, because they havent jumped on the feminised seed bandwagon, and only carry 5 strains that are all cup winners. Its kinda older school genetics, very stable and potent.

I like sensi because its really no frills. They tell you the genetics of the strain as well as if it has diffrerent phenos. They have the best northern lights strain. They also carry the true Jack Herer. They got a really good gene pool. Mothers finest is also a cup winner from them.

Other breeders I want to look into is DNA, and TH Seeds.

i'm into flowering from my "Afghan dream" from BC seed company which i bought from vancouver seed bank.

50% males exactly, one of the females had a deforemed leaf, but this strain has withstood many fuck ups by me, time and time again in this grow i did something wrong, but these plants are still going strong. i love the compact growth and big leaves.

I've been very disappointed with Greenhouse seeds as of late, last two batches have been shit. When I pay that much for seeds I expect them to germinate. I doubt I will ever order from them again.

Serious Seeds without a doubt. Always strong, healthy and quite potent. He only has 5 strains and it shows he's put the work in to make them the best. Serious always gives me the best results, and I've tried many others. So don't consider them, just buy them, you will be happy. :bigjoint:

Anyone know of a reliable seedbank with feminized early flowering outdoor strains? My bagseed grows always seem to go into mid October. Something that finishes Late September would be better for my location. Early misty seems like a winner but what seedbank? Also, doubling yield with feminized seeds would be nice, as long as it doesn't lead to hermies. Is it a mistake to use feminized seeds outdoors? Greater chance of hermie???

I want to add Seedism to the mix, seeds germinated within 18 hrs and are growing like crazy. Strain is Killawatt.

I also got a shipment from Mandala seeds and Buddha seeds.

I've gotten 100% germ (10 seeds) with the Mandala Satori so far.

Buddha seeds White Dwarf also 100% out of ten.

My greenhouse Rhino and TrainWreck germinated after about seven days, the new coating sucks I would recommend a pre-soak for Greenhouse seeds.

Two thumbs up on mandala beans.I have tried several different breeders beans, high price beans and low and for the price of beans mandala can not be beat.I would put their beans up against anyones. If you want a good satava mother you will get it frome their beans.same as a indica mother.

From what I'ver read the best breeders are, Serious Seeds, TH seeds, Magus Genetics, Paradise Seeds, DNA genetics, and Flying Dutchman. I say read because I haven't tried them all and don't know if I will because Serious Seeds has always given me more than I expected. From the cheaper brands I was sorta happy with White Label but the last pack I received I had ZERO germination rate, so I'm done with them. They got the same treatment as the rest of the seeds so it was definitely the seeds and not how they were being grown. I've never had ZERO germination rate, so it caught me unexpected, what a waste of money.........

update on my 2 paradise swiss bliss.
after 1-1/2 weeks of 12/12 both showed to be female.
after 2 weeks of 12/12 one showed to be hermie. really caught me off guard because ive had a really nice room envirionment the whole grow so far. i expected to have issues in the middle of june with the heat. anyways it is what it is and i needed to free up some space because out of 12 regular seeds 10 showed to be female. and now minus 1 because of the herm.

mandala definitely seems to be where it's at as far as value for your money..... their Satori is supposed to be up there with the best of the best sativas, and their Safari Mix packs are a great way to get bulk seeds with good genetics for big outdoor grows.... it's easy to get too caught up in the name game... it happens to a lot of people. you don't have to spend big $$$ on seeds to grow awesome weed...

Um, I think if you check the green house site and go to germination info, it says to water germ (put them in a cup of clean water in the dark) the colored seeds for 24h FIRST, this removes the coating and than you put them into the moist paper towel.....

Only old seeds need to be pre-soaked . . . . says something about Greenhouse IMO. There are much better breeders out there, Arjan just happens to have lost of money to spend on marketing and silly tricks.

....Did you read what I said? You pre-soak the seed to disolve the coating which has the anti-pathogen stuff in it. Don't like the coating don't buy the mix pack lol.

I usually don't use paper towel I have always loved just using a cup of fresh water to germinate, add a small airstone and you have no problems with the seed drowning.

Yes I read what you said but greenhouse recommends pre-soaking all their seeds. Greenhouse seeds are junk, over marketed to the max.
