seed development???

Ok I was just wondering is there a tell tale sign of seed development? I ask because I thought i saw a seed developing in a huge calyx because all the pistils coming out of these big calyxs are amber ..so i plucked one off and opened it and juice squirted out into my eye..my eye is ok but is this how a seed develops? any help is appreciated:dunce:

Sounds like you have hermie (hermaphrodite) plant. This could be because of various stresses the plant will go through during it's life cycle. The most common stress that causes your plant to change sex is light cycle stress. Generally speaking, extra light in the form of a light leek or a faulty timer could cause a plant to change sex.
I hope you don't get "green eye". It's MUCH worse than pink eye. ;)

hey thats not really possible is it?Im gonna have to look that up on WebMD..so the extra large pear things with pistils coming out are developing seeds or no? I also sprayed with dutch masters reverse so I dont know if the pollen is viable..any ideas:blsmoke:

Nah ...green eye doesn't exist. I was just pulling your chain. ;)
If they have pistils popping out then, no, they are girls. They sometimes look like seed pods later on in flowering when the calyx's get nice and swollen.
If not and the start hardening and developing seeds then they are hermies.
If you have a picture or 2 I'd be more than happy to help you figure it out. Let's hope for females!
