Seed Germ...

Quick question on seed germ... Once the show roots and I drop it into soil what light schedule do I put it on? Can I do 24?

Many people use 24 hr. lighting so you can definitely do that. Be sure to get lights on them as soon as they sprout.

I like 20/4 the best

People have compared growth on each veg cycle and have had no gains from 24/0 compared to 18/6 or 20/4. So it's just personal preference, I'd say some dark time is good and will save a little energy as well.

Awesome thanks everyone for the advice... One more question... I am planning on RO for the first little while.. How big should she get before I give her(hopefully) some nutes?

Everyone has different times...a lot depends on how much you give them compared to their relative size. I just give mine 1/4 teaspoon Superthrive week 1...1/2 teaspoon week 2...1 teaspoon week 3. By then they should be a nice size to start more. I personally don't like using a lot of nutes...so I usually ease my plants into them with smaller doses early on. I use Superthrive, FF Big Bloom, FF Grow big for veg. FF Tiger Bloom and FF Big Bloom for flowering.
