I put them in a humidity dome with dirt (I was originally going to buy feminized seeds..but after talking with my friend I decided to go this routeSo I have 14 hours light with an 85 watt Veg CFL. 2 nd day now.. No sprouts yet almost there.) they are now in dirt
What is the proper temperature for this stage? Proper humidity? I kind of know..but any tips or ticks in this area would be nice. should there be Nuits in this water used..?

thanks so much

it's better to put the seeds in a wet paper towel and put them in a baggie in a warm place until the seeds crack open. Easier to know when and IF they crack open that way, no point in planting a dead seed. Until something is out of the ground, a light won't do anything but keep it warm.

I put 98 seedlings into rapid rooter squars and kept them moist with purified water and 95 of them sprouted within a week. I had them in a flat without a dome. I started them on light doses of nutes after 8 days of sprouting. If you do the same, you will get the same results. I got an insane high yielding super skunk phenotype out of the batch. all seedlings have diffrent sized yields. always clone your seedlings before you flower them so that if you find a huge yielder, you could keep it and run it whenever you want. Cloning is as simple as germinating seeds. You could do it the same way, give light doses of nutes after 3 weeks of pluging them in. If you do the same, they will root.

temp for germinating is good at like 80-85. humitity at 70. No Nutes, soil has the little nutes you need. start nutes when you see the second set of leaves or if you see ANY yellowing. a heating pad also helps germinating/rooting.

I always have a hard time starting seeds. I usually soak them in tap water (well water) for 24hrs and then put them in a wet paper towel on a seed mat to keep them warm. When they sprout i put them into the rapid rooter cubes. Am I soaking the seeds to much and they rot? should I just put them in the cubes or start with a paper towel?

I get a water bottle, soak the seeds in the bottle cap for a couple of minutes, then sow them. 80° F seems to be the best temp. I don't bother waiting till they crack since I always germinate a bunch at once. If they don't pop within a week I assume their dead. You can also tease the soil a bit with a toothpick to check on them

i did the towel in the bag trick yesterday and today I got sprouts. Def gonna do it that way from now on. think i might take the white widow seeds and plant them outside somewhere in the woods.

Keep temps up to 80 deg min, humidity less important. Keep watering the medium until the seedling sprouts, then get it out of dome and grow as normal, allowing soil to get fairly dry.Next time sprout seeds on a heat mat with wet paper towels, then into medium (no dome).

This is the only way i do it, works everytime

DSC00862.jpgDSC00861.jpgDSC00860.jpgso now a few of my seeds have cracked the surface of the dirt and are coming out strong. 7 out of my ten seeds are above ground now.....does this mean the other 3 are duds? i figure ill give em a few more days and them get em out of the dome. Only because the 7 that are here are any where from 1 - 5inches already. I noticed some had bigger tap roots than others when i put them in the dirt so it could be possible.
I have got it in and around 21-28degrees for the most part....i think this ok?

How long until i can determine sex? what is the ideal temp and humidity? what is the proper light cycle? i currently have it at about 16 on and 8. when should i add nutrients? a few questions.

Thanks again for all the help
