I had to use a light for warmth also, and this is what worked for me. The light basically kills all humidity, which is bad, since humidity helps the seed sprout. All i had to do was water the top a little, take a piece of clear wrap (cryan wrap or however you spell it) and put it over the top tightly with a rubber band, Then poke holes in the top with something small and sharp. This allows heat and humidity to build up and the holes allow air to flow. Do this and you'll probably see them break soil tomorrow.

Like i said, same scenario, worked great for me

I did this and it didn't work for me and my set up. I just looked at them and I can see the tip of one of them starting to poke through!!!
But thanks you for your advice friend.

No, way too soooon. Also, the root needs to grow down not up and out. Thats a problem. 12/12 is used for flowing. Veg is 18/6 or 24/0 Depending on who you ask. I did 24/0 first 2 weeks and now 18/6.

LOL my thoughts exactly.


There was a big thread where everyone went back and forth arguing over which way to put the seed in. And half said sprout down and the outher said up. So beats me and the best way but I learn the hard way so we will see how it does.
