Seed Popping 101

In light of recent events. I thought it a good idea to show people how to pop seeds and guarantee them to germinate!

Its Simple really.
Soak the seeds over night or for 12 hours. Some may float .some may sink right away. Give them a stir.
"Moisten" some soil, DO NOT soak it!
Fill a "small" pot with the "moist" soil.
Take a seed that has "SUNK to the bottom" the next day or after 12 hours and plant 1/4 " under soil
Now COVER the planter with clear plastic wrap and elastic until you see the seed come through.
Remove plastic wrap once through,
water accordingly with Wet Dry cycles!

Sweet, what seedbank did you use?
True north seed bank, it was my first order from them. They have a 40% Black Friday sale on now. That's what made me buy seeds this week.
I also have been trying to find GG#4 for a long time. I know it's not from the Original but I'm going to try it soon.

I've done two seed orders, both came in less than 48 hours. I would recommend True North and Hemp Depot.
Cheers

Fuck Ive been dying to get my hands on some GG#4. Theres a couple breeders that have GG#4 seeds from the legit cut. But theyre always sold out so thats a no go. Just a matter of time though. I remember when OG Kush was clone only

Nice! Don't do soil much so this is interesting to me. I mostly do hydro so my method does not involve planting in soil.. what I do is:

1. Wet a paper towel.
2. Squeeze it out till almost no water comes from it, but not totally dry
3. Unwrap it. Fold it in half. Put your seed(s) in the middle, I alway only do 1 per bag. Fold it again one final time.
4. Put it in a Ziploc sandwich bag, remove all air in the bag and blow it up with your mouth until it is puffy, then seal it.
5. Put it in a dark and warm place (in a cupboard that has a light underneath is perfect).
6. Within 48 hours you should have success. Open the paper towel and plant the sprout in your rockwool cube, sprout down, with the seed only slightly protruding from the cube or medium.

I always have 100% success with this method. If it doesn't sprout the seed was a dud.

same method with hydro.....................except use a 1" moist cube. NOT SOAKED  Squeeze the water out of it!

Handling sprouts can be a real bitch for some and are easily damaged if yer not careful..
Hence why I do not use paper towels. Roots can grow through the towel!

Especially when you sometimes have let it go 72-96 hours and the sprouts are 4 inches long with white hairs stuck to the paper towel that will be hurt when removing the Sprout. Totally correct that it takes some care and attention but hey if you don't have that you probably should not be growing pot.
