Hi all,a mate of mine is having problems germinating his seeds, basically he tried to germinate 3 seeds, after 5 days still nothing has happened, yet i had 2 of the same seeds off him, both of mine worked fine!!!!,so after 3 days he chucked in a couple more of a different type that i gave him, again i had successfully germinated these, but after nearly 3 days even these ones have not changed!!!,so he now has 5 seeds all of them with no change!!,he's not doing anything different to when he has done it before, and i find it hard to believe he has 5 dud seeds when there is a total of 3 different varieties there? he seems to think that they are not quite warm enough? how long should he leave it until he gives up on them?

Good possibility it isnt warm enough. temps should be between 75 and 80° If it is too cold they wont pop.
I set the container on top of my fridge. works good.

My 100% germination method.

1. get a zip-lock sandwich bag.
2. cut a piece of paper towel to like 3x6", fold it and put the seed on 1 half.
3. spray the papertowel + seed with warm water out of a mister bottle (the air will cool it just enough before it reaches the papertowel (spraying cold water will cool it even more, might shock the seeds.
4. fold the papertowel over and put it in the sandwich bag.
5. put the sandwich bag ontop of ur TV box overnight (turn the box on so it makes a lil heat :D)

check ur seeds in the morning! should have a lil white taproot sticking out!! leave them there for the rest of the day n let the taproot get a lil longer.

DO NOT PUT THEM IN A CUP...
CLOSE THE SANDWICH BAG...AIR WILL OXIDIZE THE TAPROOT (make it brown and dry)
