Hey,
When using a seed raising mixture how long is this soil generally viable for until the need for transplanting into the normal soil which is being used in the grow? I was hoping something like 2 - 4 weeks.. but i may be wrong.
cheers
Never heard of a seed raising mixture. Usually seeds sprout with enough natural made vitamins inside their shell to grow ontheir own. Very interested in your theaory now.
I've heard of it a few times and heard it goes quite well as it has more N in it compared to P and K.. i think thats the right one i dont really know. Im from Australia and the type i am looking at is called Searles Seed Raising Mix. http://www.searle.com.au/PottingMixes.html
IMO I would recomend just letting the seedling go on her own till she has a couple of leaves on her. Nutrients withing it's first month of growth is a very risky move.
