Seed soak solution?

What ratio of peroxide do you use to make the solution? I have some older seeds I want to do a soak with later on this season but can never find a consistent answer for proper ratio. Thanks
The dosages I've seen in studies are all over the place, there seems to be a lot of leeway in the effective concentration. But one that works is to add 30 ml of the regular 3% h202 to 500 ml water-I got that from one of the studies and have used it for years-I don't like to soak for more than 12 hours though.

I just give my starter tray a good spritz with 6% H2O2 and fill with tap water. Chlorine is good in my book for germ.

I find temps between 70 and 76 F to sprout fastest.

Thanks, in reading the study I got lost in some of the science but I did understand there was a point of diminishing return at 20 mM. Trying to figure out how in the hell to convert that number to either ppm or ml last night almost made my head explode. I appreciate the simple recipe.

I think the biggest thing with any of the aspects to growing is finding what works best for you.

I personally ditched clonex/hormones for rooting long ago.

my clones get a weak nutrient solution for their medium of around 0.6EC.

no root stimulants at all.

I think for anyone starting out with seed starting or cloning they should try the simplest methods first.
Yea I agree - I now use fresh aloe, liquid kelp and fulvic for rooting - works just as well if not better

It’s all love - I really do want opposing perspectives when I post here, this is the ‘power’ of an open forum like this.

We can ABSOLUTELY agree to disagree. Frequently. We should. It’s what helps everyone learn no matter how or where they grow.

I had to come back here to look up the dosage rates you had used before as I am getting ready to start an auto flower for my wife that really helps with her stomach condition and wanted to do an 8-12 hour soak before I drop them in the dirt. Thanks again for posting some numbers I could use. This is a Mother's Day surprise for her so I have to hide the cup and plant until then.
