used soil for years now but never my plant got to it's 3rd set of leaves in 7 days! and never got that amount of roots! plus, the plant is way too less stretchy... anyways i respect ur opinion and happy 420!I put my seed in moist warm soil, same end result. Seedlings sprout in 3-4 days.
How many times have you popped that same seed? Honestly, one success doesn't dictate a universal principle. It's cool that you had this happen. However, a meaningful result isn't achieved without repeatability and a control group.used soil for years now but never my plant got to it's 3rd set of leaves in 7 days! and never got that amount of roots! plus, the plant is way too less stretchy... anyways i respect ur opinion and happy 420!
i agree with u! this procedure wasn't tested on different strains repeatedly and it can't be taken as technique, but that wont stop me from sharing some good results i got with! i didn't say that i have the ultimate wisdom I DON'T... i was just smoking a joint when i though bout building that mini DWC cuz my seeds takes long time in GH hydroponics 5 gal bucket! As simple as that... Keep it green bro! U Soil-Medium Guys do start in small pots and transplant later to bigger ones to avoid stunt growth and stress... Why don't we Hydro-Farmers do tha sameHow many times have you popped that same seed? Honestly, one success doesn't dictate a universal principle. It's cool that you had this happen. i will!! thanks bro!I love those roots. You should show this off in the DIY thread area too.
I agree with AA's method, I'm a big proponent of the K.I.S.S. protocol and probably not smart enough to do it any other way.I put my seed in moist warm soil, same end result. Seedlings sprout in 3-4 days.
Then all is well. I definitely wouldn't say that there isn't some merit to your idea (Things worked out well for you.). It's more of a cost to benefit thing.i agree with u! this procedure wasn't tested on different strains repeatedly and it can't be taken as technique, but that wont stop me from sharing some good results i got with! i didn't say that i have the ultimate wisdom I DON'T... i was just smoking a joint when i though bout building that mini DWC cuz my seeds takes long time in GH hydroponics 5 gal bucket! All roads leads to roma!! we all grow different way to end up with a nice rolled joint on the sofa! Then all is well. Like I said, it has it's benefits. It just depends on what your needs are. If you need a sprouted seed ASAP; your method is useful. Personally, I'll just keep using the used up soil from old plants. It's free and requires no electrical consumption. Plus, it's much more efficient in the space department. It's all about needs. It's not a "debate", it's more a interjection of perspective. Your way is dandy, but not revolutionary by any stretch. It has it's merits and drawbacks like anything else.Actually man it just cost me the the air pump 5$ from eBay and an air stone 7$! everything else was already in the kitchen lol! i'll keep using it anyways so it costs way less then soil! anyways im not here to debate!
