Seed starting trick ......Share if u got any

hello

well i found a nice trick for me and i wrote this to share with the rest of u ....good karma thing

1 jiffy plug
2 jiffy green house
3 laundry detergent cap
4 a warm spot (t5 light for me)
5 seltzer water

well it is simple u soak the plugs in a mix of phed water and your rooting feed ........about 45 mins come back and then squeeze the plugs lightly 3 times to remove some water not all......poke the hole in the plug i use a pen cap from bic pen (gives u a maximum depth with repeatable 3/4 inch) put the seed in point end up bulb end down ..........place it on the tray (toothpicks with masking tape lets u label them) ......i took a cig and made a round hole on one side of the plastic top of the green house (this will makes sense in a sec ).....now the laundry detergent cap and fill with seltzer water (not all the way but most ) and set it inside the green house on corner farest from the hole u made ) cap it walk away in 3 days u should see nice sprout ....if it is more then 5 days look in the plug u might of had a bad seed or it needs help popping it out

the warm place ........this is the trick u need to find something that is warm but not hot .......the greenhouse will fill with Co2 from the seltzer water releasing it and be trapped in there with the seeds

Honestly the seltzer is a fine idea for the co2, arguable if the compound aids germination, but I would side with optimism unless we can find proof of co2 hindering emergence. Works in foliar, so why not earlier.

Well Mr sunshine its obvious that you don't know the more complicated you make a relative easy task like germination the more potent it makes your final product it's a fact Finshaggy said so....I like to keep my seeds under my tounge for one lunar cycle prior to planting and then use soil from pastures where unicorns grazed.

I like tucking mine up under my nut sack until the second node appears. Then transplant and grow as normal. You can grow hydro or soil using this germination pre-veg method, totally your choice.

Those are all some fine methods. Under the nut sack works extremely well with the constant temperature and all, and like Big Easy said, I've had remarkable luck using dirt and water. I know it sounds unlikely, but give it a shot sometime.

That's way less complicated than some methods I've read about on this site....I shall call your method the Big easy Teabag method !

2. Stick into medium.
3. Leave it the fuck alone.
Number one isn't even necessary. I only do it to make sure I'm not planting unviable seeds.

not that much ......less steps then making a rubin sandwich and adding chips to the plate

i shared because the results it gives me are the same now for 18 months .........i used this method about once every 2 weeks(starting 2 seeds at a time for myself ) ..........my fail rate so far going on 2 years is 7 seeds ( i start mine and other ppl for them i have a better Veggie set up )

yea just use a wet paper towel and put it in a plastic bag with no holes and seal it up. Check after 2-3 days

Glass of water overnight then into moistened jiffy plugs with a few grains of the peat covering the seeds. i do use a heat mat.

I do this funny shit called putting it in the dirt and watering it. It's crazy how the dam thing grows! Almost like nature intended it to.

Warm water not like hot af water just warm, I throw them inside a water bottle and put it on top of my internet box/ DVD theater box /cable/ etc or just warm that shi for like 15sec not that much after 48 hr most if not all of my beans are popped !

Paper towel method. Key thing that few realize - you can't use Bounty or any other GP brands. The Koch Brothers own them and have a secret chemical in them that gets into the seeds and then the buds and turns you into a raving conservative psycho :-)
