What is the best method to store seeds? How long can I store them for and still get 75% germination rate?

well ideally in an airtight container, possibly throw so incandescent saches in there with them (i do)
then put the in a cool dark place (though the container should do this in most cases) so just find a cool dark place to put them in.
ive had and seen seeds germinate well for many years like this... some strains ive seen germ after a 17 year storage with this method... though a general idea is up to 5 years
and yes theres the fridge its better than the freezer (sometimes they get to cold), though a freezer will be fine too as some fridges arent cold enough or opened to much etc.
they should easily last 5 years in this manner.
also if youve just got em the fridge is a good idea srta helps them feel like theyve gone through a dormant period duriong cold season if there fresh, this may increase the germ rate if done correctly as well
like i said ive sen really old seeds have a good germination rate many a time and ive seen not so old ones recieve crappy germ rates so hey you could just get lucky lol and no matter how you store em get a 9 year good germ rate but id reckon thats really pushing it. if you want to keep it and work on it again someday make sure you get lots of seeds to make up for the germ rates if its years down the track.
