Clips, ties, zip ties, bread ties, whatever works :lol: I've got pipe cleaners on the tops of 2 plants, and zip ties daisy chained to clothespins clipped to my sips right now. I'm a "use what you've got" kind of guy. Doesn't matter so much how you get there, just that you do get there.

Absolutely . I thought you were putting them down in other messages. My bad. Yeah whatever works for the person. As long as same end result. Anyway the clips arrive tomorrow, so they will get some training soon then put the net up shortly afterwards. I'll add some pics soon. Peace bro

Right guys, I need encouragement and help. I feel really uneasy bending the main stem into the lst clips. Just feel like gonna snap. Would you say the clip should go just above my thumb ? As too thick and rigid. If I go higher the internode is not long enough for the clip. really don't want to kill or heavily stress them by making a mistake. I have watched tons of youtube videos and searched online, looked at forums and hear so many stories of broken main stems and just feel even more uneasy about lst. I may leave it and just grow it out with the net, use some clips on the stems that are much more pliable. Honestly I just see a disaster about to happen trying to bend the top part of the main stem. This is the exact reason I have never done lst before and only topped or grew it out. Anyway feel stressed and annoyed, nothing happening tonight, gonna sleep soon.

I use a Sharpie pen, and flatten the stem between the pen and my thumb, and them bend the stem right around the Sharpie...if that makes sense. It also helps to have them well watered. I don't top plants at all any more, I just bend the tops over and it has the same effect, only faster with less stress.

Dracarys is a great strain...You'll love it. Their Black Lime Bubba is even better....I am trying to get my hands on their Sour Bubba seeds now...No one has any. currently...I just emailed the man himself hoping for a few!

Thanks for the reply.

I can just see myself break it as i try to flatten the stem.But thanks for the tip. I will use bamboo stakes and use soft ties to secure the main stems, then very gently bend top 20% part over slightly. Then use my scrog screen from then till 2nd week or so of flower. If I don't feel it is safe to do then will just grow it through the net to fill that up.

I actually wanted to get Black Lime Bubba, but just couldn't find it anywhere. I will be contacting Katsu next time though just to see if he has any, then grow that alongside the Dracary as still have 2 seeds left.

Thanks man, appreciate it. Btw this is my first scrog. Have researched it a lot recently but you being able to see my plants for yourself how long would you guess I need to continue to veg to fill it to about 75% full ? I was thinking maybe 2 weeks then flip, depending on how full the net is of course.

Update. Made the move from HPS to LED. I got 2 Grow 300s from Grow Light Science for my 4x4. Nice bit of kit. It should give me a good uniformity across the canopy of around 1000 ppfd. Arrive in a couple of days so will post pic of the girls under their new light soon.

I have no idea. Depends on genetics probably.. I run a perpetual so no nets for me. Those will stretch quite a bit I would wager so feel free to flip whenever.

First issue. I noticed bite marks on several leaves. Looked for caterpillars but sadly can't find them. Not sure best spray as unsure what bugs thus best method to treat it. Any ideas?

Week 7... I Got some nematodes arriving hopefully tomorrow so will take care of the pests that are eating some leaves. The led light came but one was damaged so gonna be mid next week unless I put 1 320w on now until next week. Only 80w less than the 400w hid I use for veg and far better ppf and spectrum. Also thinking of flipping them over the weekend as not sure if this net is to full for where I should be.

20th Nov is day 1 of flip to 12/12. I have put 1 of the Grow Light Science Grow 300s i ordered in the tent. Measured PAR and fairly even coverage of 500-600 and when 2 go in there that should be an even 1000. I don't wanna go higher than 1000ppf as tricky to add co2 unless sealed room with no extraction going.
