Seed to soil to hydro.

I haven't grow since 2008. My first major grow had fail due to poor planning and the law. I had to dismantle and lost well over 20 thousand over onrent Bill's and grow equipment.

I just got my medical license and my friend had hook me up with some cuttings. Still I haven't decided which system i want to use yet.

I have grow the plants in soil for 3 months under 30 watt fluorescent lighting. I was very busy with Reno's and I finally have time to start this grow. I made 13 7" to 8" cutting place them in my homemade aeroponics cloner. Today is day 7. I'm going to figure out a grow room set up.

Been super busy with work,my renovation and this grow.
My plants clone stain is bubba kush so he said.

I'm construction my grow room and I only have maybe another 4 days before I have to transplants.
For this grow will be modified drip system with nutrient film technique. I'm doing everything thing I can to make it air tight because i don't have to deal with humidity problems . maybe I might add in a airstone for each bucket. Could be overkill but in case the root plug my the drain and it had a back up solution. I cut the hole about the base of the bucket and left about 2 " .

So much work to do. I still need to set up my vent and noise proof my room. Stay tuned guys

Quick up I'm almost done my reno and still working on my grow room. I should be able to make adjust tommrrow and transplants.

But I think there sign of root rot. If that the case I might have to cut the bottom out and recone everything. Or I might just keep going

I didn't put a air stone in my cloner because I thought the aeroponics aeroponic spray be good enough. I will tommrrow when I get paid.
you are correct. You dont need an airstone in a cloner unless you are doing a bubble cloner where the stems stay in the water.
If you are using sprayer heads, that is fine.
Those roots do not look super healthy to me unless youve been giving them fairly good strength nutrient already.

You do need to decide if you want to go sterile or beneficial bacteria though. Both work and have their own pros and cons, but you have to pick one.
Sterile uses stuff like peroxide or chlorine to just kill everything.
Beneficial bacteria can also keep the bad stuff in check, common options are hydroguard, southern ag garden friendly fungicide, great white ect..
I use the southern ag.

I have rebuilt my cloner. Double the sprayer heads and change out the water and added 350 ppm of nutrients. Took about 5" to 10" cuttings . 2 week later, Took my best 8 transplants into clayrocks. My cloner had failed again but at least half my plants develop some good root systems.

Now this is a picture on 24 hours a day with 1000 watt light. With new venting. Day 5 . Drip system with nft and bubbles will be added once roots are developed. Ppm is now 950 (150 ppm tap water) 24 hours light. Pump is running 2 hours on and 1 hour off.

I wish I took picture of the root system 3 of them were huge. Ams the other are health but could be better.
