My autoflower seed has cracked looks like a oyster can see the tap root but it's not out It popped between 2 pieces of damp cotton wool shall I leave it a day or plant it now

dont use cotton the roots will get tangled and you can just plant it now anyway

i dont grow autos but i’ve seen people do it both ways and have success but to keep it simple yeah do final pots this first run and if you keep growing autos maybe you can experiment with transplanting later.

Cheers bro I was gonna transplant it to paper towels for another day c if the tap root comes out or think Ile just plant it just about open

Quit with pre-germination stuff. You've already done that with the cotton wool, it doesn't need to go to a paper towel. Put it in the dirt.

Stick the damn seed into some soil. Why would you move the seed to wet paper towels?

I don’t get it either. Straight to soil seedling 3 days
1 day in cup of water , 2 +days in paper towel, 2-3 days soil?

I dunno, even that is too much for me.

My method is make the soil damp, put the seed in and let it grow.
