my mazar has sprouted and is growing strong... seems to be taking off fast... twice the size of the others.. ak-48, blue mystic, sugarmountain, dreamy (my own cross of northern lights and a purple indica) and mazar.. 2 weeks into veg.. we'll see how it goes.

everything i have read suggests that mazar i sharif is a very stable strain. reeferman entered it in the cannabis cup as "lemon skunk" and according to him it blew everyone away. i'm gonna go ahead and grow them out. i'll bump this thread with an update in a few months, just in case anyone is curious.

I got thai lights from dj atomic for free a while back. 5 seeds in a little ziplock bag that just had the little sticker on the side that said thai lights freebies.

only one was female :cry:, but it was fucking amazing.

sometimes the free ones are the best.

Good thread. This seems like a good seed bank. I see that 3 people claim to have been ripped off in the poll. I don't see any posts about actually being ripped off though.

some may of posted thinking they had been scammed.only to get there seeds after the xmas back log. i strated this tread because i thought i had been ripped off.but my seeds came in the end.i have since ordered again.

Maybe they will be ok for you. Mine looked mighty healthy and strong in the begining too. I gave my two other 5 packs of Mazar seeds away. I heard the opposite, that Mazar is very unstable. One grew tall and lanky with giant claw shaped leaves and the other looked like a super healthy bush, and just never flowered... and its funny they say on the ziplock flowering time 6-8 weeks.. no way. Before I got the free mazars I got a freebie of sam the skunkman original haze x skunk. Those may be ok

I think it would annoy me getting freebies that sucked because I know I would try to grow them. I couldn't stand to just throw them away.

its gotta be because they buy in bulk off them...the breeders must give them a discount.seedbay/seed boutique sell that much stuff faster than most other wholesale seed banks,the breeders know if they sell there stuff through them they will get a quick turn over.

It was because they were closed for 2 or three weeks. They let everyone know that it was going to get slow in November so there was plenty of notice. Checkout ICmag, the folks running that site also run seedboutique and you can contact them on there as well..

in case anyone ever wondered about these mazar...
mine took off through veg. starts twisting with some deformities early in bloom. both the seed plant and clones did this. yield is lacking unfortunately, but the smoke is fucking great. nice woody citrus flavor. really smooth long-lasting stone. i really enjoy the smoke, but the yield was too low for me to continue growing it. better than feeding it to the birds though bongsmilie
