Hi all,
I'm trying to diagnose 2 of my seedlings. One of the ones in question has brown spots, and both of them have the first set of leaves curling in. The other 2 look ok. I didn't realize I should have waited on nutes till the cotyledons are dried up, so I've backed off that for the moment. I've been watering about every 3 days or so. The last time I watered, it was with distilled water with 1/4 the recommended dose of Calimagic added.
I'm thinking the brown spots may be nutrient burn. In another thread, some people also suggested transplant shock was happening. How can you tell if a seedling is in shock?
What's the recommended regimen for Cal-Mag? And how can you tell if there's too much or too little? I understand you're supposed to use it every time in coco. I did "precharge" my coco with the recommended dose on the label of Calimagic per gallon.
I got some Azomite, which I read can help plants, but it's too late to mix it into the coco, and I read it was useless as a top dressing.
Let me know what you think, and if I should just wait it out and see what happens, or do something.
Thanks
