Ok,
So I'm new here and I'm doing my first grow. I have 3 bag seed plants on week 1.5 now and they got nute burned about 4 days ago (I know...I 'wigged' out and added nutes before I should've )
Anyhow, I was seriously worried they were goners because they were so young and I didn;t want to lose em so I 'flushed' and that has done the job. Now, I have an overwatering issue caused partly by the flush but mostly by me again (dirt packed too tight, watering too much aside from flush, and more...)
Trying to be proactive, what I have done today is use a thin wooden stick to 'aerate' the soil some and they are probably going to stress some from the roots being disturbed as careful as I was.
I am now thinking that one look pretty bad and I am considering using H2O2 to get O2 to the roots. I've read how to do it but I want to use what I've got instead of waiting to find 'food grade' peroxide. I found this: http://www.h2o2-4u.com/grades.html which seem to express that the only difference between the two is that 'food quality' H2O2 was inspected directly in the container you purchase, while plain jane H202 was instead inspected by taking a sample of an H2O2 batch. The testing and standards in both cases are explained to be identical, so in essence the stuff we know as not 'food grade' actually was considered to be exactly 'food grade' H2O2, but only while located in the same container it was last inspected in
Phew, anyhow...does anyone have any experience using the plain jane stuff? Thoughts?
