Seedling Problem...Will it survive?

I wish I could post a picture of my seedling, but I don't have the chip for my digital camera. As I've posted, I think I got a bad batch of seeds. Out of 6 seeds, only one germinated. All the seeds looked very small and almost black.

The only exception was my Cheese seed. It had a pink covering on it. It germinated and has become a very, very tiny seedling.

I'm going to try to give the best description possible. The seedling is tiny and it is bent over half way up the stem. One part of the codelyan is sticking straight up in the air because of this bend. On the bottom side it looks like the codelyan is almost stuck to the stem with a piece of the outter shell of the seed hanging on it. Its kind of tough to describe. Yesterday, both of the codelyons seemed stuck under that half of a seed shell. Today one of the codelyans appeared to have come apart from it and is sticking straight up in the air/vertically like I described earlier.

The seedling does have a nice green color to it, including the 1 codelyan leaf that's sticking up vertically. Right in the middle of the codelyans you can see 2 extremely tiny leaves that are also green looking. I guess those are the first real set of leaves.

I don't dare try to touch the thing and get that little part of shell off the plant. Anyways, do you think this tiny seedling will live? I've got it in my grow box under 6 26 watt cfls (6500K). Is there anything I could possibly do to help it along? I planted the germinated seed about 6 days ago. I'm just used to them being beautiful looking seedlings by now. Anyone got any advice? Do you think it has a shot? Thanks.

I think it will be OK. Once it grows bigger it should shed the seed husk on its own if you don't feel comfortable trying to remove it. If it looks green and you can see new leaves coming I think all you have to do is wait a little longer.

I don't think I would give it any fertilizer just yet, since it is not even a week old.

(yes I cut & pasted this from the other forum :P)

feeding it will kill it. lol. no food for 3 weeks or so probally, but anyway, i think it will be fine, im more concerned with your germination technique, or you are right and did get some really shitty seeds.describe how you germinated them please.
