Hey people.....I have 2 Lowlife Auto Kush seedlings in California Substrates Coco Coir in 2 gallon pots the broke through the coco 4 days ago the stems and the cotyledon are dark in color, the single blade and second set coming out are green as they can be. This Coco says it's charged with calmag. Could that be why the stalks and codyledons are dark? The stalks seem real skinny too. I know there is no nutrients in coco accept the calmag precharged in it. Should I start feeding? I'm gunna use GH Flora Nova Bloom start to finish

When should I start a feed schedule since I'm in coco with these couple? I basically just wanted to try the coco out on just 2 to see if I was gunna like it enough to switch from soil

I would start feeding around day 25. Next time you may want to try loading up your coco with some organic additives before you plant. I like to add a few tablespoons of seabird guano, bat guano, kelp meal, garden gypsum, rock phosphate, dolomite lime so I don't really have to add anything but water till about half way through flower. You can use them all or just a couple or just one but this takes a little work in the begining but is much less work in the long run. All I add is water cal-mag and bennies. Hope this helps Johnny.

Some people let their soil and additive mix sit for a couple of weeks to "cook" but I just put a nice hole with fresh no additive coco around the transplants and it prevents any shock or burn. Good luck Johnny
