i first posted this under plant problems with no responses
the light has always been this close i only move it up a couple inches at a time and thats when the leaves are pushing up on it.

same strain planted at the same time same conditions the last one some how got fucked up as you can see the one with 2 single blades wanted to see what would happen if i topped at such an early age....when i go to transplant can i bury them up past their cotyledon leaves? can i start bending them? lst?

You can bury the stem when you transplant. But it looks like to me like you need more light!

i'd at least triple that light . is that sativa , those are great and thick looking stem though ,you should check out the thread on replanting , i tried it and did wonders for my plants. i can't call them girls yet because i was guessing the sex from little pussy hole in the end of seeds.read a article on how to do it and waiting to see how correct it is .i picked out 5 pussy and the ole lady picked a dick so we marked them to see.don't no what they are have had them for about twenty years and was surprised they even popped .just about 4 in now . just got some seeds from nirvana and gonna try them if they don't pan out

All good suggestions, More light, and i agree with burying it when you repot, dont be afraid to bury that thing man. Ive done it a few times in the beginning myself.

Couple of things you can do here. Notice that your cups are much taller than they are wide. If you want to keep using the cups try only filling then 2/3 full of dirt before inserting the seedling. For the ones in the picture you need to brace them. I use toothpicks and pipecleaners to make small braces, one for each sprout. Also, get them as close to the light as you can without letting them burn. Finally, if you have the option I've found that new seedlings stretch less with a MH set-up rather than HPS.

So, use wider, shallower pots, jack them up under the lights, build some braces and check your light set-up.

Good luck, BigSteve.
