Seedling taproot barely poking out of rockwool. should i put in DWC buckets?

hello peeps!

i have some baby seedlings about 4 days old and the taproot is starting to come out of the bottom of the cubes... i dont want the root to get damage from air and light so im wondering if i should place the cubes n the dwc buckets already????

im thinking of putting a layer of hydroton at the bottom of the pot then filling the water up so that layer of rocks is wet and bubbling (lol) so it can splash on the cubes is this a good way of doing it??

should i feed? i have a PH and a PPM meter. i dont want my babies to damp off!

as soon as i see a root i put them in the net pot, i put the water level up until it touches the ass of the pot, i reduce it when the roots are through it only takes a day or two. if your gonna feed at this stage just make it 1/4 strength. the hydroton thing is ok, i do that too(should say did coz ive packed in dwc for coco becoz the noise of the air pump was keeping me awake at nites)
