Hi, I am in my first DWC grow, and am having problems with one of the seedlings. The picture is of a White Widow seedling, 16 days from planting, 12 days from sprouting. The leaves up top appear to be browning and turning a little crispy. It is possible by light was too close (VS4000 LED, 28 inches away @ 80%). It also looks like phosphate deficiency, but I am not sure. I moved the light further away, but I am not wondering if I have too few nutrients.
It is growing indoors in DWC 5 gallon bucket. Roots look good, and are now starting to grow down into the water. I am using tap water @ 80ppm pH 8.0. I am adding cal-mag to get PPM to 140, then minimal nutrients (AN) to bring PPM to 260, then pH down to 5.7. This morning, PPM was slightly higher (275) and pH was 6.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
