I had a plant (Jack Herer x Kali Mist) that did the same-- named her Trixie. The sprout was trifolate for a few sets of leaves before getting back to the usual.
Do you mean the first non-serrated seed leaves (cotlydons). If so, that's a new one on me. I always thought that each leaf was produced from each half of the seed case.
Only four? I have experienced phenomenons very similar to those on a couple different occasions. I think they would be as common as finding a four leaf clover, rare but are always out there.
Yes Dwezelitsame, that's exactly what my seedling looks like. An next time I'm out there I'll snap a picture of it. But I'm still kinda confused on what exactly it means. Is it just basically topped or something? I'm very interested to see how this turns out.
i think we are to see many strang things in our future
the way everyone is playing wit seeds
and the fact that ther is no lifeguard on duty at the gene pool
it is just an anomaly, and the plant will be barely be different than any other plant...they don't usually remain having 3...once it gets larger it will most likely appear normal...
