I just was curious whether the soil had added nutrients. Seedlings have enough stored nutrients in the cotyledons for a couple of weeks. Best to use an inert starter soil for seed starting. Then, once you get some growth on them, they can go into richer soil.
Seedlings in a hot soil or exposure to nutrients do all sorts of odd twisty things with their leaves. Should grow out of it though. But also consider humidity. They like a little more humidity then an adult plant. Make sure that cfl at 2" isn't too warm...just use your hand.
