seedlings dying

hi i wanted 2 know wots the best soil i can buy?i heard miracle grow is shit.ive been havin problems with rockwool wasted 6 seeds in it cant get past seedling stage they keep wilting after gettin inch tall ive been doin wot every1 as tellin me.was gona grow my rockwool in a nft system but i had enuff.any1 got any advice on soil growin and the advantages over hydro and that dam rockwool? PLZ HELP

I probably can't tell you the best, just my limited experience.

1st attempt tried Miracle-Gro Moisture Control - crashed and burned - all kinds of nute lock, couldn't fix.
2nd attempt Miracle-Gro Organic with some dolomite/bone meal - Much better, still vegging so a long ways to go. From what I read, organic is usually much less prone to the nute burn/lock you could get from the pre-ferted soils.

if your seedlings are wilting over its because you arent running a fan on them to strengthen the main stem. brace the sprouts with sticks or toothpicks and run a fan on them for a few wekks. the stems will eventually get stronger so the leaves can be held up in a healthy manner!
