seedlings growing sideways

Hi,

My last grow was about 10 years ago. I've had success with the same setup(except lighting) and I haven't encountered this problem in the past.

- 8 days since germination
- Top-fed DWC, no nutes yet
- 400W(actual draw) COB LED, 2 feet above

I was thinking maybe rockwool is too wet from top feeding. I unplugged the water pump 24 hours ago. Rockwool is still pretty wet.
But I've seen people here keep the pump on from seedling to harvest so I'm confused?

Any thoughts will be appreciated!

(this one has weird looking leaves)

the rock wool is too wet in my opinion... probably the seedling is holding onto too much water (hence the droop).

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I've seen leaves drooping from too much water, but can the actual stem be drooping like that too?

yes... especially that young... it wont be able to handle all that water... leave it to dry up... Can see from pic the rock wool is over saturated.
