Seedlings Head fell off!! Help!!

I'm growing some Dinafem & some John Sinclairs (2 seeds only, 1 of each). There are NO leaves yet, the seed casing just popped off today for both of them and no head was left! One has half a leaf like it was torn and the other has no head at all! Is this normal? They're only about 3/4" high. Thanks for your help

could you post some pics?...in case you can't i would just let it continue to grow and wait to see

Get out your magnifying glass and check to ensure that the clear membrane came off of the leaves. If it didn't, the first leaves will look like the end of a shoot, so carefully remove it (membrane) with tweezers and the dicot leaves should spring forth.

This just happened to me with an Ice seedling 2 months ago.

Ride it out and see how it goes. My guess is the first pictured plant is done for and the second might have a chance.

Years ago I had a similar problem that I caused myself. I tried to help the seedlings out by removing the seed shell before it was ready to pop off on it's own. what I did was pop their little heads off LOL! Off with their heads LOLOL! I would never say that this it what you have done but mine never amounted to a hill of beans. Do over!

Ya, that's kinda what I thought too... the first one will probably not produce, i guess I'll have to make do with the Trans love Sativa :weed: We'll see. And I'll definitely let you know how it goes, this is my first grow so I'm excited!!!!

I remember my first grow too, believe it or not my first grow was my very best.. I do understand the excitement and I still have it to this day even after multiple grows. Well I found out why the heads were missing... my cat bit the heads off. lol I made SURE that none of the animals could get to them, but she did anyway. Crafty little b*&ch.. I could have killed her. hahah But it's cool I got the G18 pineapple express up next and I'm going completely outdoors!!!!!!! I'm so excited.. I got my greenhouse all hooked up and ready for some greens 8) Speaking of which though, I'm posting another thread, if anyone can help me out that would be awesome
