Hello everyone

I put very carefully 3 germinated seeds in rockwool I soaked for 24 hours in ph 5.5 water... I put them under 3 clf lights and kept my temps between 23 to 25 degrees Celsius the rockwool has not dried.. It's been 3 days and nothing has happened!! I'm trying
not to be impatient but I
was wondering if I was
doing something wrong...

Although I don't pre germinate my seeds I usually make a small hole in the cube, place my seed and cover with a little soil, ( you didn't mentioned if you do or don't) that way the sprout only has to push through the soil rather than rockwool which can make it tough for the sprout, hope this helps, but as mentioned, you have to be patient, they will pop out eventually.

I have had some seeds that took almost 2 weeks to pop out of rockwool. I do love the medium though. It is what I have used for years and I have a great germination rate. Have patience. I poke a hole in my cubes with a toothpick and use the end to cover up the seed with a bit of the rockwool.

In the second post he said he didn't squeeze them...English is probably not their 1st language
No, his post was edited afterward, admitting to ones own mistakes is apparently over rated it seems... He stated specifically that he squeezed the extra water out, or it wouldn't have been brought up.

Don't edit your post, and then tell others to "Learn to read" its not my fault I called you out before you changed what you said. You could have corrected yourself in a follow up post, but didn't, instead chose to re-write your post, and make me out to be the fool.

Once... again... and read it slowly so it sinks in.

I did read it properly.

You did not leave it as you originally wrote it.

Maybe write it properly the first time, and avoid this whole issue? I'm sorry if you originally said (or did) something stupid, we all do it. But no matter how many times you tell me to read it properly, I can't, you deleted it, and rewrote it. My fault for not using the quote button, so you couldn't play this card...

Uhhh ok well I didn't read everyone elses answers but i had a problem like this once. Believe it or not the seed popped it just was set in sideways and was trying to grow out the side. A simple set of tweezers and some moving around it was right as new. Plus stop using rockwool. Use those brown circular thingies lol uhhh what are they called!
