U have nut burned em or lights 2 close man and soil is 2 hot from the pot sizes replant in bigger pot mix in some perlite go easy on the waterGot 10 seedlings I put in Just Right Xtra Potting mix. They have been in it for about two weeks now and I'm having some problems. Everything was great when they were put in the soil but now it seems as if the soil is too hot, ph is off and nutes are getting locked out of they're underfed. Tell me what you guys think. It's been a while since I e grown in soil but I've never had a problem before and I've never had seedlings look like this
flush em and just use water for a while. Youll probably continue to see burnt tips but theyll survive....and grow out of it eventually.
I was a soil grower way before I grew hydro so I know not to hit organic soil with any nutes the first few weeks. Thing is I haven't given them any nutes from the bottle of any kind and what's funny is I did a slurry test on the soil(2oz ph neutral water and soil) and tested ph and ppms of it and it was 6.6 and 130. Not understanding why they got burnt. They've only been getting water but I didn't ph the water so that could be the reason. I bubbled all the chlorine out but I'm gonna start pH'ing the water before hand. I'll flush with pHed water and water them with pHed water until growth looks betterAre you feeding on your hydro schedule? They dont need any food for a month in organic dirt like ya got there
Haven't feed them any nutes yet and they're under cfl's so I know I didn't burn em cus they're not touching the lights at all. That's what I'll do as I have plenty perlite from my hydro grows
thats fuuuucked because they look crispy fried burnt to me. Starting in the lower leaves and moving to the tips of the upper ones. Seems like an easy diagnosis to me but i guess not. The only other thing i could think of is under feeding like you said but im not going to be the guy that says feed em and really fek your sprouts. Good luck man, i hope they come around for ya
They are crispy fried burnt lol but all of them aren't like that. Some of them look like they've been underfed and are very yellow and light color so it's crazy. I wanna say it had to be the ph of my water cus it is high but I never ph when I grow with soil and my water is only 45ppms so don't know lol. maybe an issue with drainage? I typically like to see the perlite a lil "cleaner", that can be an indication of too many dissolved solids or a media that is too fine of a particulate. I don't like the look of that soil. When it gets dry, water it thoroughly and see if "mud" comes out, I think it's retaining too much water. Hard to tell without being there though.
It's mixed with coco and perlite so drainage should be fine. Honestly I think my two water may have did it as I didn't ph it and it high 8s so I'm thinking that my have did it cus I have 3 Platinum Delights growing in the same soil and they're doing fine and that's a Cookie cross so if they can handle the soil these should be able to.
my pleasure, and just a heads up, I don't know about it being the water, usually that won't happen so drastically, but I could be wrong. I still kinda think that soil is not a good one, what does the "xtra" mean on the package? cause if they are meaning nutrients, that may be your bitch... some seedlings are SO sensitive to food
They're not under HPS it's in my cfl clone/seedling box. I have all soft white cfl's in there that's why it looks like HPS so I know it's not fried by heat or heat stress. Could be the moisture is leaving to fast but something burned them either too much P or K and N got lockout out. They'll get repotted and hopefully they pick back up

Yea the cfls would have to be pretty close to burn em.
Not much just watering with a spray bottle. I think the soil may be holding too much water for these youngins. I just transplanted them into some 1gal grow bags so they have plenty of drain holes. I may have fucked them by putting them in bottles and stuff. Won't be lazy anymore
You'll be ok...It did look to me like the soil was holding too much moisture. Most times when you have a problem with seedlings water is the cause IMO
