Seedlings not sprouting through soil

Hey everyone!

I germed 4 maroc seeds in warm water for about 24 hours until the root showed.

I then placed them in 16oz cups filled with soil and placed them under 2 23 watt CFL in a 1'x2' wooden box. I then placed plastic wrap over the tops to keep them humid.

I moistened the soil, but not too much.

It has been almost a week and they have not popped through, whats up with that?

thanks for all help!

the warm water is a no no it promotes male growth. some times it takes a couple weeks to come up. my last seedling took 13 days after germ to come through.

find tupperware that will fit over the cup and rinse lightly with warm water put over the cup and keep that under the light

Yeah, flip it upside down and put it under the lights.

If it has already popped then it will be looking to come up to the light.

ok thanks, none of them have popped yet, i planted some arjans haze and alaskan ice this morning so we shall see in the next few days. I placed the tupperware over the cups and i misted the inside of the tupperware to keep a high humidity level, its about 80 degrees inside the box,

hopefully this all works out!!
