Seedlings turning yellow??

Hey guysI just planted 3 seeds about 10 days ago 2 fem & 1 auto flower. For some reason they are starting to develop yellow leafs along the bottom. I don't think i have had this issue before. Is it time to start with a low dose of nutes?What happened to the photo upload option??

What type of lighting, growth medium, soil brand (if soil) ... Need a little more info, since the photo link isn't working for you.

Happy Frog soil
24 hours light
Ph of water = 6.5

Yes its time to feed them they are hungry, what is that shit they are in? woodchips? cheap potting mix?, use real soil next time and pre mix blood and bone and perlite thru it.

I would foliar feed Magnesium. That's definitely a magnesium deficiency! Everytime my new growth is yellow, it's always Mag.

Im using Happy Frog .. I don't think its cheap potting mix but i could be wrong.How much blood and bone?

That's not new growth, it's actually the oldest true leaves. I think they'd like a LIGHT feeding of veg nutrients. Also make sure you aren't overwatering. Those are some BIG pots with some tiny plants. It wouldn't surprise me if you could go 10 days between waterings. You want to let that whole pot get pretty dry before watering again so that the roots have to grow outward searching for moisture.EDIT: Noticed they are smart pots... 10 days between waterings is probably a stretch...

I did that the day before. I used some stuff called "smart tea" from my local hydro store. It says it can be used with any type of nutes. Even says it's safe for seedlings as young a 2 week.

I only water when soil needs it. I use a digital soil tester to check the dampness level.
Most times they get watered every other day.
Are they too big for auto flowers? I keep reading it's best to place them in a larger pot because they don't like to be moved as much.

Hate to say it, but those soil moisture meters are USELESS. You need to lift up the pot and see if it feels light. There is no way that little seedling is drying a pot of Happy Frog in 2 days.

Should i switch to a better soil then Happy Frog?

Nothin wrong with Happy Frog. It can benefit from a little added perlite for drainage, but it's a decent soil.

Don't add any nutes at this point....It's in a good soil mix and their is no way that it used up all the N in that size pot!Don't show N def on the new growth IMO... just relax and follow good watering habits, maybe check your ph to be safe......on the auto, when feeding time comes/ use only high p-k ferts to help them auto...good luck

Are you blind? The new growth is a little yellow. It's a mag deficiency. New growth yellowing, old growth the leaves are going yellow with green veins. It's an easy spot. You are right about the OP needing to use smaller pots.

this is just my opinion. i think your soil is staying to wet it may dry up at the top but there is no way the bottom is drying up, this will cause your ph to drop because the wet soil goes sour. i have to agree with the post above i find it really hard to believe that a plant that size has used up all the the nutes in that huge! pot of happy frog that's just me.. i would look for another problem before i even ever thought it needed food. that just be tho i dont ever jump to nutes to fix a problem unless i know they are just hungry and tbh i think they are hungry but i don't think that the soil is out of food. there's just no way, that plants little, in what 5 gallons of happy frog? i think look for another problem before i jumped to feeding.

i don't mean to go against what everyone else is saying and they maybe right, but i would make sure everything else is in check first.
