im starting the seeds in rapid grow hydroponic for a week then transplanting, how close should the cfls be to the plants on day 3

4-6 inches.

cfls should be as close as possible without burning the tips id say 2 inches

best of putting them as close as you can then, putting you hand underneath and see how hot the light is, plants look healthy though

I agree with wyteberrywidow I put my CLFs as close as possible 2 inthats the great things about CFLs
