Seedng soil question

2 days ago I planted 2 seeds 1/2" maybe a little more In some jiffy seed starting mix with perlite and was wondering about hw long do tey on average take to break the surface? I'm trying to water them a little with a spray bottle when I see the mix is dry and I have 4 23watt CFL's 3" or so over the pots to keep them warm going 24 hours waiting for them.

could be 48 hours could b a week, depends on the seeds and temp.
