seeds and thc production

Just like to know if a plant had started growing tiny seeds in the calyxs late in flower does thc production stop completely or is the energy transported between buds and seeds any info be great found some sites saying that it doesn't completely stop and some saying it does

i think it depends on the plant strain

I have read a lot of conflicting articles / papers regarding this. Some state that the resources dedicated to seedlings production hinder bud and tric development while others state that the opposite is true.

There are various theories of the actual function of the tric and chemical contents. Some say that the tric is a UV / pest defense and thus enhanced by seed production as the plant tries to defend its offspring while others say that the seeds become the primary focus for the nutrients.

Short answer... I don't know.

However, after the reading I have done I can't say anyone has a concrete answer.

It depends on the amount of seeds. If its just a few seeds, it should not affect resin production too much.

That has been my experience as well. I typically pollinate a few of the first lower calyxs for propagation reasons. The end product and main flowers are not negatively affected from what I can tell.

ive smoked a lot of weed back in the day,that your lid was full of seeds and it would fuck you up,the best was the creeper weed.so i dont see how that statement could be true, when it comes down to it were is your pride,mine stands at ,i smoke male-female-hermie and dont give a damned about growers that want.if i grow it and has trich on it in the lungs with it.sensimilla hasnt been around forever it is just prefered,by todays smokers

No effect at all on gland/resin production. Potency should be about the same as well.

They are present in most calyxs but still not growing so fingers crossed they stay the same size. I had a plant before doing the same and they didn't grow much more.only thing is that I'm worried about now is thc on both plants doesn't seem to have much sticky feel to it is that a problem there's plenty of thc just not sticky ?

i have grown abit of seedy bud in my time and i would have to say no i have had some seedy bud if u got all the seeds out will blow your socks off so like i said i would have to say no

It's a tastier smoke if she's thrown some seeds imo ...

Yea, I got plenty high back in the day and it took 15 minutes to remove the seeds and stems from an eighth We used to have a bowl in the middle of the coffee table with hundreds of seeds.
