hi i live in Melbourne and recently bought seeds from Gypsy Nirvanas Seed Boutique. I wasnt sure if i would get them but i recieved them within a week no worries at all. Its illegal i think to buy seeds but the chances of getting busted are slim i think.....

Hey Planetfonz,
I was reading an old post of yours in an attempt to figure something out. Can you please help? I'm new. I have clones in rockwool. They are showing a lot of roots. three of them are in the same rockwool block. A friend told me to cut them apart and drop them in my pots with the rockwool attached and put my soil mix around that (with pearlite at bottom and top). I started to do it and realized that there is no way I'm going to avoid cutting some of the roots off. I'm sure that's probably not a horrible thing as they look to have plenty of roots, but you know, I wanna do things right. I saw that you are in favor of taking the rock wool off and moving to straight soil mix. Is that still the case? And how do I do that? I heard I should hold it in water while I carefully strip the rockwool away. But some people say that will do too much harm to the root hairs. I'm sure I can do it either way, but what do you recommend for a noob who's lost?

i'm unsure how to properly answer this yo...
personally, i have just transferred my grow to flood n drain and have since messed with removing rockwool (i just tore it off - plant didnt miss a beat)
and also cutting roots, once again the plant showed not one sign of disliking having its bits chopped ...

if its soil u have then just bury your rock wool just under surface and let it go.. rockwool isnt a bad thing ..

whoa ok i just re-read .. u have plants in same rockwool , well first bit of advice is dont do that again unless u plan on finishing them in that same rockwool. u may have no choice but to cut and hope for the best. good luck mate

Ok well i'll add some stuff to this ... i was raided early friday morning ... 4 police cops and as i'd stopped my grow 2 months back i was charged with a bong, 1g weed and all my seeds .. they also smashed my equipment and took my lights
i'd now be very aware of the seed from overseas thing if you are gonna do it ... i was extremely lucky so i hope you all have the same luck ... 2 hours of drug counselling is my punishment and no conviction recorded.. phew
it could have been much much worse.. these police knew their stuff and knew what they were looking for .. and in fact were very nice when they realized there were no plants there .. interesting times ...

hey guys, I live in aus and had a package sent to me from a foreign nation, which loves weed. to test customs several different items were placed in there and guess what, yes, got opened by them *sigh* im not risking it.
