Seeds from Amsterdam.

  • Hey guys,
    Iv'e just introduced my self to the forum and about to start growing soon and I guess join all of you great growers out there (hopefully
    )

    So before im about to start I am flying to Amsterdam on vacation with a couple of friends and wanted to ask you guys:

    1. Do you know of any good seed banks over there that you would suggest? (I heared the names SensiSeeds and Barney'sFarm a lot!) Maybe from personal experience?
    2. What strain would you suggest a new grower who's looking for a high yield Sativa which wont be the hardest to grow? Im not lazy I just dont want to buy a strain that turns out to be the hardest Sativa to grow


    3. a bit off topic, what would be the best way to save the seeds? Dark and dry place? Refrigerator? Etc...

I gotta say I found most Amsterdam seedbanks arent as good as many others... well I guess I shouldnt say that, greenhouse and dutch passion left me unhappy, serious seeds my expectations were too high, it was good but not great from what I tried, Barneys was good...

All I'm saying is don't limit the purchase based on where they're from...

I have no problem recommending emerald triangle seeds, never been unhappy with a plant. If it lacked in one area it more than made up for it in another. Also people kinda call em the knock offs but all the Nirvana I've tried was good.

I would like to buy American If I can. May be after everything's set-up in Colorado with recreational use being legalized and all, seedbanks will also sprout?

depends when you are going. While i've never been myself, this is my first time, one would think there might be a lot of free treats in the form of seeds at the CC expo.

As to number 3. you answered it perfectly. From what i have read though, while a fridge is a good method of preservation, almost as important is a constant temperature, no wild variations. I keep mine behind the salad crisper where it's always cool :)
