looks good as always. in my experience though the clone only ogs grow very dense indoor or out. what medium is taht soil with added perlite or something different me im do hempy bucket grows these days soil is the best for quality but is hard to do perfectly. the hempy style is the best of both worlds hydro/soil imo. i can use hydro or soil specific nutes plus beneficials and sugars if i want with no ill effects.

similar to what im doing then. so much easier to correct imbalances or flush plants.

i like the end result but trimming sucks so bad. my urkel/widows are packed with seeds and finishing now its been colder so some purple highlights are showing. i would let them go a bit longer but the caterpillars are still here and there. this grow was mainly for seed production so i will make a bunch of bho. next up im flowering pure larry og 818 og blackberry kush pure purple urkel and oaksterdam og. some will be hit with urkel/widow pollen and some with some pollen from a male ograskal og aka fire og. mostly the og strains i will hit with the fire pollen should be good.

yeah no problem those are a while away from fruition but you will be the first to receive when ready.

that looks similar to the 2 i harvested though mine are outdoor which always looks less impressive than indoor but potency can be impressive. of course mine are seeded to the max.

and i had to harvest early because of caterpillars but i have got them covered for next grow.

i discovered spinosad organic bacterial extract with no smell no residue and does not burn plant tissue at all even buds. it kills spider mites thrips and of course catterpillars. the mistake i made was not spraying weekly but lesson learned i plan on using bt as well. otherwise all i ever use is neem pyrethrum serenade etc.. all pretty safe i would use more serious insecticides but i try not to.

So the sativa pheno hermied on me...I went to trim off leaves and found /i had alot of balls the other pheno Is a keeper for sure

i see seeds forming did you find pollen sacks. i grew mine under extreme heat and serious bug attack and had absolutely no issues they were created as standard male/females and both parents had no herm issues as well one a standard clone only which goes around socal with no herm reports and the w.widow a standard male female grown from seed which was herm free as well. i have used the widow male on a number of strains with no issue grown out by me and friends a few times. basically this is unusual as neither parent has herm genes. how many other strains are present in the same grow could pollen have come from another plant. if you can find direct evidence of male bananas which should be easy there bright yellow banana shaped pods as im sure you know take a pic let me know i would like to see as it is perplexing. i have never had a herm plant that was not obvious from visual bananas early on but im very attentive to plants.

yep it had a few empty yellow sags hanging...only the lower part of the plant seeded..some buds have 2-3 seeds...some are loaded with premie seeds but the buds still look good and they did develope before they grew the beans.....My guess is it pollinated week 4-5 ...I flowered 9-10 weeks

I have a few good strains in my stable...Purple, pre98 bubba & og Kush.... New York City & Sour Diesel...grand dad purple... white widow....92 skunk (KGB)....PurpleWidow.

I buy clones 1 time and keep the strain forever.....with seeds you have to find the one you want and then keep cloning it....I cloned both the plants that came from the WW/Erkel beans.... I have them forever now

Heres the seeds I have pulled so far from the plant....will they produce hermies or normal plants??




Now heres the thing.... I pulled a start/clone from the sativa pheno(the one that hermied) and now its in flower its about 2 -3 weeks in.... I'm looking hard and I dont see any bannanas....heres the clone now

im perplexed that should not have happened if anything my outdoor grow dealt with much direct stress and i grew the urkel widows as well as larry bubba fems but no herms also the urkel widows are male female seeds its very odd. was there ant stress factors that could have promoted herming. it will be interesting to see if the same cloned pheno shows any sings im hoping not and that it was a fluke or fert stress who knows i dont get it.
