Seeds from huge unfertilized bud?

I just finished a great first grow, and I let the last one go for awhile to watch trichs and learn. Anyway, I got like 8 seeds from the last plant. The males are long gone and they were never within range anyway. Normal occurance? Fluke? Pollen transfer somehow? Plant turn hermie with age? Wondering.

What is up? 60 views and no ideas, or it just a stupid question. I didn't fertilize any buds, so I thought I might try these, but not if they suck.

Most probably a hermie.
