how powerful is your light? at that young you would want them under something little untill the get a little big bigger

i put em into light as soon as they break surface of soil. just make sure to keep the temps down, and dont put it to close to the light cuz it'll burn, but if you have it to far away it will stretch. just keep a close eye on her.

[EDIT] iv sprouted seedlings under CFLs, 150W hps, and 1000W hps, it doesnt matter how intense the light is as long as its enough, and not to hot.

more power to your light the hotter your room will be unless your intake out take is done right... i always use flours untill about a week old then go to my HPS cuz i dont own a MH

yea thats ture, its easier to use flouros till they get through the seedling stage, i wus just saying this so the guy dont run out and blow a bunch of money on lights for the seedling, or stress that its not going to work lol

okay, those are fine to start your seedling under bro =]
you wanna have them about 5 inches away untill it unfolds its leaves, and if the stem starts to stretch at all move them an inch closer, and continue moving closer till you see her stop stretching. you want to watch closely for any signs of burning.(curling leaves, dis colored leaves)
most people recomend to have CFLs 3 inches away, but all the factors of your grow room(temp/humidity/ect..) will change how your plant reacts to hot bulb that close to it.

i use flouros and a heating pad until week 3 then off to big girls light with a transplant from cup to fnal pot 1/4 food had already started week 2 along with thrive and root stimulator from the start

this is the hardest stage seedling to when plant starts to grow around week four it is the easyest to loos a plant in this stage if plant makes it through this stage it has about a 90 percent chance of going all the way

good luck
